Thanks everyone x
I am happy to report that we have accepted an offer 🙂 The estate agent is just making sure that they have the finances all sorted before we mark it as SSTC and take it off the market.
I was so exited that I called the estate agent of the 3 bed house we went to see on Saturday and put in an offer on that. We did go £15k under the asking price but hopefully he will meet us at £250k. If he does and using the money from this place the new mortgage would be under £200k 🤞
I have contacted the solicitor who is acting on our behalf for the sale of our place and left a voicemail regarding them acting on our behalf for the purchase of a new property. Hopefully I will hear back from them tomorrow. As we had the meeting with the broker, there is no issue over us getting the mortgage as we have provided payslips and our IDs, so fingers crossed it will all go smoothly.
I managed to have an hour of sleep this morning and an hour this afternoon before I went off to my cleaning job. I'm now showered and in my jammies in bed. Dog 3 seems better, she hasn't been asking to go out at all, so hopefully we'll have a peaceful night. I've never had a uti myself but i know friends who have and they say its quite unpleasant, so I'm giving her lots of fuss, poor thing. She's had a rubbish life up until she was rescued so we'll do the best we can for her.Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Mortgage Free November 2025!9 -
