Sorry to keep you all in suspense! It is good news, our second offer was accepted!
We've also ended up getting a bit more for ours, so the mortgage we will be getting will be for £190,000. I'm pleased with this, it's not a ridiculous amount and will be very manageable. We will be going from council tax A to C, so that will cost us quite a bit more, but it will be worth it.
