Trade completed. How do you withdraw back to bank account. I'm on laptop. Do I need to go via the app? Thanks
I struggled to find it too. If you go into your GBP account you can set up payees and then send payments to them (like a current account, just what I'd want for an investment account - eek!)
I did everything except approve the inward Open Banking payment on my desktop.
On my mobile it was impossible without the app - the web version does not allow screen scrolling down to where the 'add payee' button is located.

Thank you. Managed to sort it on the app.

A huge thank you to everyone for highlighting this.

I quite like the interface and many keep the account as I need to transfer from ii before the ned of Jan to avoid their fees as I moved from x-o.

Am I right in thinking the account is fee free?

As far as I could see it was a free account. I decided not to keep mine mostly because I noted in the terms of this offer one of the eligibility criteria was "Not be an existing eToro customer with an eToro Account and not be a customer whose eToro Account has been closed within the past 30 days", which bodes well for being eligible for future offers, providing they don't ban me of course!
I do hope for their sake they sort out the premature delivery of the bonus at some point.
I should also mention, two things that do give me pause about this account are the ability to send payments to anyone, and the ability to instantly open a crypto account. I could not hold a significant sum in such an account. There are a few reports of people having their accounts compromised and money exfiltrated via crypto payments.

Quick one, not a user of open banking, can anyone confirm which deposit option (bank transfer or debit card)  appears in the wallet straight away? their terms imply 2 days, or can be up to 10 days for some?!

Thanks, Reddit was the trigger, now £495 "richer" as I was 10 minutes ago. Signed up, selected Microsoft, filled out all the data and was instantly verified. Created GBP wallet and deposited 5k by open banking. Shares were allocated within second. Sold the lot and proceeds were back into my GBP wallet straight away. Withdrew my 5k plus ca £495 (some fees to be paid) into my bank account. All funds arrived instantly. Etoro account closed after.
Really? That's ridiculous. They're not going to leave this hack open for long are they? They'll lose a fortune.
I was very hesitant but my motto for 2026 is to take more risk so I went ahead expecting the worst. I still can't believe it myself. I may get blacklisted by eToro but I can very well live with that.
I knew your claim was ridiculous - it takes 20 minutes and I only made £490! Would have been quicker but it's been a while since I've used a trading app.
Drive by complete, £496.13 for 12 minutes work. My don't they like to keep you updated over email!
    £496.18 for me. Nyaaaaaaaaaa!

    (seriously, this is absolutely nuts...)
How long b4 the funds were in your bank?
I've withdrew mine a few hours ago, but no sign of funds yet.

That's the reason most of us picked Open Banking. One forumite has already commented the debit card deposit did not elicit the welcome gift straight away. Presumably it needs to clear.
Bank transfer will depend on the process for allocating money to your individual account.

Hopefully they haven't cottened on to all of us doing this. I still have the OH to do once I get the £5k back 🤪

Thanks, the "Easy Bank Transfer" method on a laptop requires you to scan a QR code on a smartphone, which I can't do. Looks like I'll have to see what the app does...

My bank was not on the list of open banking so I did a manual transfer using chase bank and the funds 5k appeared in the etoro GBP wallet instantly, when you select bank transfer option the sort code and account no are shown, they are also shown in the GBP wallet
