Santander Amazon opening offer x2

Going through TCB's terms and conditions has clarified this issue, which I flagged yesterday. In TCB's description of the Santander offer, they say:Jabod said:
One other thing I notice in the offer terms is the following: "8. This promotion cannot be combined with any other Gift Card, Cashback offer, or promotion code and may not be redeemed for cash. If this is used alongside another Cashback offer or promotion code, you will not be eligible for the Gift Card."
Taken literally, this means that you cannot simultaneously claim the £20 from TopCashBack and the £100 Amazon voucher for opening the same account. Yet this is what everyone is doing and recommended by MSE etc. I expect in practice you would qualify for both rewards.- This promotion cannot be combined with any other Gift Card, Cashback offer, or promotion code and may not be redeemed for cash. If this is used alongside another Cashback offer or promotion code, you will not be eligible for the Gift Card. An exception applies to Top Cashback Group, where both cashback and the voucher will be eligible, provided all applicable terms and conditions are met.

Why do you think it is necessary to do this from a different source? This is a genuine question rather than a rhetorical one. As I have described in my previous posts, I have applied twice via TCB so I am assuming that I will qualify for the voucher offer through my second application (using the box for the voucher).friolento said:
I belive you'd have to fill in a VoucherSent form, and they email an acknowledgement as soon as you have submitted that form. I agree, where yuou are now, you'd have to apply again, clicking through from a different source (such as MSE or Moneysupermarket)0 -
Also remember to only do the 30 debit card transactions on the second account, if like many, you only clicked through the £100 voucher option is TCP, on the second attempt.0

What is the exact email address the email from voucher sent comes from? I'm doing a search to see if I have received one1

My reason would be because I did select the correct box leading directly to the vouchersent form filled in the form and then when I pressed continue it said sorry somethings gone wrong, each of the five times I filled the form. Maybe it doesn’t like safari browser, although others have failed and others have succeeded.Jabod said:

No I did select the vouchersent offer not the pink button and it just said sorry somethings gone wrong so then I did have to use the pink button and no doubt bypassed the £100 offer. May be my safari browser although it’s fine with TCB tracking. May try via Quidco and if vouchersent doesn’t send just abandon and go via mse link if that works!Jabod said:
From the sounds of it you have not been registered for the £100 voucher. You would know if you had been registered. First of all, you are directed to the VoucherSent site and have to fill in a short form before being redirected to Santander. And not long after you have filled in this form, you would receive an email from VoucherSent confirming that you are registered.Yorkshire_Pud said:I found this thread after I applied for a Santander current account via TCB. Like some others the form for vouchersent £100 Amazon doesn’t send so hit the back button and carried on to Santander which has tracked at £20 on TCB. No idea or way of telling if vouchersent will have received my details so have taken several screengrabs as evidence in case.Does vouchersent send an initial email confirming they received your form for those that did successfully send the form off?
Alternatively I would I have to apply for another current account using vouchersent form but not via TCB.
I think the reason you have not been registered is that you pressed on the big pink button at the top that says "Get £20 Cashback". This is entirely understandable, and as I and others have pointed out it is exasperating that TopCashBack flags this button at the top without linking to the Voucher offer.
In order to qualify for the voucher, you need to ignore that pink button at the top and scroll down the page. You will see a box that describes the £100 voucher offer. You need to click on this box. This will redirect you to the VoucherSent registration form.
The good news (I hope!), is that there should be no problem going through the whole process again and applying for a second account by clicking on the box for the offer. This is what I ended up doing. Santander quickly approved both my applications for Everyday current accounts. The bank allows you to have more than one.
You should also notice that if you do this, both your current account applications will be tracked by TopCashBack as qualifying for TCB's own £20 cashback offer, so your TCB dashboard will show that you are owed £40! I suspect, however, that they will only pay you the £20 for the first application (in TCB's General Terms and Conditions they say "repeat purchases may not qualify"). But who knows? I think that at the very least, those opening two accounts should get both the £100 voucher and the TCB cashback. I hope so!0 -

Hmmm. That sounds like a problem with the VoucherSent site rather than connected to the number of times you've applied via TopCashBack. For one thing, VoucherSent wouldn't know about your first TCB application because that one did not go via VoucherSent.Yorkshire_Pud said:

Come to think of it, the first time I filled in the VoucherSent form it crashed. It worked on the second attempt when I was redirected to Santander. I got a registration email from VoucherSent both times I filled in their form, despite the crash after my first attempt.1 -
I just tried using Quidco who offer £15 took me to the vouchersent form and yet again “something went wrong” so I suspect vouchersent don’t accommodate older iOS 17.Jabod said:Yorkshire_Pud said:

Sounds like you need to try a different browser! Though in general the site seems quite buggy so I suppose one needs to keep trying.

BTW, I see rereading your original post that you only applied directly through TCB after trying first via VoucherSent (so apologies for my assuming that you had not noticed the correct button on your first attempt).1
