Also just tried via the link on page one of this thread and same, ‘something went wrong’. All cookies cleared etc, up to date iOS albeit 6th generation iPad using safari. Frustrating! Wonder if my 2015 Amazon fire tablet get out of jail free device will work!0

Why do you think it is necessary to do this from a different source? This is a genuine question rather than a rhetorical one. As I have described in my previous posts, I have applied twice via TCB so I am assuming that I will qualify for the voucher offer through my second application (using the box for the voucher).friolento said:
I belive you'd have to fill in a VoucherSent form, and they email an acknowledgement as soon as you have submitted that form. I agree, where yuou are now, you'd have to apply again, clicking through from a different source (such as MSE or Moneysupermarket)
Because it's safer to do so as there is no room for conflict with the £20 cashback offer. This is not to say your approach will fail. I just wouldn't do it your way because I have seen TCB wriggle out of paying cashback with the most ridiculous excuses.0 -

No I did select the vouchersent offer not the pink button and it just said sorry somethings gone wrong so then I did have to use the pink button and no doubt bypassed the £100 offer. May be my safari browser although it’s fine with TCB tracking. May try via Quidco and if vouchersent doesn’t send just abandon and go via mse link if that works!Jabod said:
From the sounds of it you have not been registered for the £100 voucher. You would know if you had been registered. First of all, you are directed to the VoucherSent site and have to fill in a short form before being redirected to Santander. And not long after you have filled in this form, you would receive an email from VoucherSent confirming that you are registered.Yorkshire_Pud said:I found this thread after I applied for a Santander current account via TCB. Like some others the form for vouchersent £100 Amazon doesn’t send so hit the back button and carried on to Santander which has tracked at £20 on TCB. No idea or way of telling if vouchersent will have received my details so have taken several screengrabs as evidence in case.Does vouchersent send an initial email confirming they received your form for those that did successfully send the form off?
Alternatively I would I have to apply for another current account using vouchersent form but not via TCB.
I think the reason you have not been registered is that you pressed on the big pink button at the top that says "Get £20 Cashback". This is entirely understandable, and as I and others have pointed out it is exasperating that TopCashBack flags this button at the top without linking to the Voucher offer.
In order to qualify for the voucher, you need to ignore that pink button at the top and scroll down the page. You will see a box that describes the £100 voucher offer. You need to click on this box. This will redirect you to the VoucherSent registration form.
The good news (I hope!), is that there should be no problem going through the whole process again and applying for a second account by clicking on the box for the offer. This is what I ended up doing. Santander quickly approved both my applications for Everyday current accounts. The bank allows you to have more than one.
You should also notice that if you do this, both your current account applications will be tracked by TopCashBack as qualifying for TCB's own £20 cashback offer, so your TCB dashboard will show that you are owed £40! I suspect, however, that they will only pay you the £20 for the first application (in TCB's General Terms and Conditions they say "repeat purchases may not qualify"). But who knows? I think that at the very least, those opening two accounts should get both the £100 voucher and the TCB cashback. I hope so!
I have not seen anything about the £100 Amazon offer at Quidco (only the £20 c/b offer) - if you have, would you please share the link? As I would use that myself.0 -
Quidco linkfriolento said:I have not seen anything about the £100 Amazon offer at Quidco (only the £20 c/b offer) - if you have, would you please share the link? As I would use that myself.
I just checked and it does go to VoucherSent.1 -
Just click on the "Get cashback" button for the Santander Everyday Current Account and it will take you to the VoucherSent form. (I cannot post links yet but you can easily find it by searching for Santander on the Quidco site).friolento said:I have not seen anything about the £100 Amazon offer at Quidco (only the £20 c/b offer) - if you have, would you please share the link? The £100 Amazon voucher is also mentioned in the "Helpful Information" at the bottom of that page (you can expand this by clicking on the arrow on the right).
This is the way that TCB should have done it! One button for both offers.

So after failing to use the TCB vouchersent form on my iPad ditto Quidco and mse link suggests it’s safari and my iOS.
Just used my quite new phone running android via TCB and the vs form works first time, and proceeded to open my second current account today, and both tracked so should get £40. Confirmation email received from vouchersent. My opinion is vouchersent don’t support older operating systems.
Most useful answer I got here was that vs send a CONFIRMATION email if they receive your filled out form on the way to Santander application form. So I knew my previous vs attempt had failed even though I opened the current account.
Also of note, in the long t&c of vouchersent, no6 it says in the event of a problem you would need the OLA reference which is the Santander account opening reference which you probably delete after getting the account up and running so worth making a note now.0 -

Absolutely, it is vital you keep the OLA number. VS has previously declined payments when people couldn't provide the OLA
Great it worked for you now - fingers xed for 2 x £20 cashback, too. I have applied for an Edge via Quidco, got my OLA and my VS email but I don't have much hope Santander will open the account for me as I already have an Edge.2 -
Does the 60 days start from when the account is opened or when the debit card is received which can be 7-10 days later0
