    We've recouped our massive (small!) haul of octoplus points in case our account gets reset to zero. It will be interesting to see if Octopus see us as existing customers?

    I found the same problem, despite being an existing Octopus customer they wanted me to re-enter DD details and what day of the month I wanted to pay.  I just want all the DD details / payment date as they already are, hope they don't go changing stuff around, only want the tariff rates changing that's all.
  • I'm with BG tried to switch to new deal and got the ineligible message. After reading messages on forum changed my present supplier and it allowed me to switch and sent me an email stating switch in progress. I rang British Gas today and was told no switch was requested and it could not be done manually as it is an exclusive deal. Told to contact MSE so I sent an email and received an automated response. Not sure where to go from here.

  • I've now spent days trying to make this change. British Gas insist the problem is with MSE. No response to emails sent. I feel like I have been dangled an unobtainable carrot by the very people who's purpose is to help us. Well done to all that have been successful. Just have to leave the heating off for longer lol
