Mrs Builder came today. We cleaned out the chinchillas cage. I told DS3 yesterday that he needed to take care of them whilst we were working. It took a while but it's now clean. We added fresh bedding, hay, the new sand bath (2 of them went to sleep in it), fresh food and water plus various treats like dandelion salad. They spent ages exploring and seem content.
At the moment I'm finished for the day - my back, legs and shoulders hurt, I'm on the couch trying to get comfortable and gently stretch my back. If I start to feel human again, I will do more.
Grateful for doing a difficult task, using up multiple ends of packets, feeling tired but not in serious pain.6 -
Did volunteering, visited the new widow-lady, drove limping friend home, did some more food shopping.Quite enough for one day! Will chill and relax and mither kids about cleaning their rooms, even if they only do half, it is half the job for me to do when I cave and do it.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hello lovelies. I forgot to mention yesterday was nsd#3 so I am quite chuffed with myself this week. Been to work again today and run this evening. Then I thought I may have to give up a nsd today as I needed salad for dinner, but went in the local shop and it was reduced to 55p! Little wins hey. I’m up to 4 nsds now.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #825

I've still not had any NSDs yet, & now won't until Sunday.
Had a great day at work yesterday, the highlight was my pupil saying thrice in 10 minutes, that he is happy in an excited voice. He's never said it before 🥰 Met up with 2 friends & had a good catch up, though later home than I'd intended!
Today I left the house early, dropped DS3 at the bus stop to catch a later bus to college (his tutor had a meeting first thing), then dashed to work to set up for an online in real rime activity. Parent collected him early, which I didn't know about, so gave me time to prep for tomorrow. Had a massage after work. Started gonk #18 & a new TV series with an air hostess in it. Quite good so far!
Grateful for another good day (pupil today said he is lucky. Maybe means to have me with him? No idea!), offers of help & hugs from friends, my massageUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Work day today, but still on NSD # 2, as I popped into the charity shop as I passed on the walk to work this morning. Found a dress from the brand that I like for £8, and in a size smaller than usual. Fits me well, so the weight loss efforts are finally paying off. Also found a new mouli legumes in French packaging for £2.50. Very useful for sieving tomatoes and other ingredients for sauces, purees etc. I will give this one to DD2, as I already have one, and she has been pushing roasted tomatoes through a sieve with a wooden spoon to make her sauce. This will be much easier.I managed to rehome an unwanted cabinet thing last night. Either needs upcycling or use for storage in a shed or garage. I think they were going to upcycle it. Useful storage whatever, and as it came from Freecycle, I was very happy to pass it on for free to give it another lifeFinished the last of the courgette lasagne for dinner, with a few air fried leftover cooked potatoes and salad.Picked another colander two thirds full of tomatoes. Everything seems to be slowing down and coming to the end now.Grateful today for a pleasant walk to work in the sunshine, charity shop bargains and decluttering an unwanted piece of furniture without it going to landfill.

Morning lovelies. Yesterday ended up nsd#5 as I was so tired after work, I spent the evening crashed on the sofa watching tv. I had a nice walk at lunchtime in the sunshine but was cold in the evening. May have been tiredness.I hate the idea of things going to landfill, which is probably why I hoard so much stuff, it feels so much nicer to give something another life, well done DawnWMortgage free wannabee 2022 #825

Hi guys
Today has been NSD3 and I’ve managed another PAD into the savings.
Work has been so busy today, I’m shattered. We’re visiting friends this evening, nothing exciting just catching up, but it will be lovely to see them.
Tomorrow is going to be quiet, OH says there’s a lot of sport on tv so I’ll probably start on my scarf I’m making and just veg out.
Not planning on spending anything tomorrow but I’ll pop by tomorrow to report in.
Have a good weekend
