    They've got up to version 6 one month, and a version 7 in another. One or both of those reverted to a previous, more expensive tariff.

    I think one changed after a few hours too. Not sure if they'd made a mistake with that one.

    You are correct.
    Been done a few times before.
    I've just come off July v7.
    In August they had 6.
    And one month they didn't just switch back to the previous one but went back to the first one of that month.

    You may be favourably impressed if you phone Octopus.  In my experience they usually answer pretty quickly, being 0808 it's always a free call, they understand and speak English well, know their stuff and the line is loud and clear.
    My phone rings, and I stare at it from across the room.
