I have not seen that before. Removing the newer V3 and then reverting back to V2 as the latest would suggest V3 gas was very popular and probably exceeded some sort of sales limit they may have set.Lorian said:Just to add here V3 has gone and the more expensive V2 is the offer nowThey've done it a few times this year. And one month, they seemed to change the tariff daily, for about a week. They've got up to version 6 one month, and a version 7 in another. One or both of those reverted to a previous, more expensive tariff.I think one changed after a few hours too. Not sure if they'd made a mistake with that one.0 -

Been done a few times before.
I've just come off July v7.
In August they had 6.
And one month they didn't just switch back to the previous one but went back to the first one of that month.0 -

You may be favourably impressed if you phone Octopus. In my experience they usually answer pretty quickly, being 0808 it's always a free call, they understand and speak English well, know their stuff and the line is loud and clear.vic_sf49 said:But one reason I stay with Octopus, is it's very easy to contact them, especially by email, as I hate phoning and talking to people.1 -
Just a suggestion for anyone who's changed one tariff only and is on full amount direct debit - to check it's still setup correctly after the single tariff swap - i.e. the next bill and email and online account give a date for a full amount debit and not reverted to some smaller regular monthly amount...1
