I've been AWOL from both this NSD challenge and the forum as a whole for a while. We've had a couple of very spendy months (including unexpectedly having to help out with DS car purchase
) but the fact that I've also been avoiding updating my YNAB and have fallen foul of my overdraft twice this month has finally rung alarm bells for me!
Summer is always expensive for us, with both DS's home from Uni and eating us out of house and home. As we're also in the middle of a very spendy garden project, DS1 has now finished Uni and trying to find a job, and DS2 needs to find a Masters course AND accommodation, it really is time for me to get my head out of the sand!
So while I've probably had a couple of NSDs this month, I'm resetting today. I had to buy some paving slabs this morning so currently still on 0/10, but I'm going to see how many I can clock for the rest of the month.#15 Save £12k in 2026 £6000/£120003 -
