With no 9:09 but a 11:09 - its increasingly sounding like you might be on Snug ALCS direct control - and possibly now even rates.Making it a switch on - and not a switch off.If you get a repeat of Sat 23:30 rate drop - but a 23:00 - that will really suggest your on Snug ALCS.But I'd check for the next couple of days - on the online web portal or Octopus App you've been using.@vienna28 - do they actually send the snug 9p / day rate to the meter - or just leave the E7 onesIve certainly seen them bring the start of the night off peak core 6 hours - forward - AFAIK - that isn't a shift of the core - that remains 00:30 to 06:30 GMT.I don't know if I would remember anyway - so not sure if they ever extend the 06:30 end time (all times GMT so add 1 in BST and your 9 min)I would hope your on line billing will soon make it clear what you are being charged and when. But I'd keep an eye on the meter registers as well as the totals - maybe take photos now - if have switched tariffs - and maybe check later to see which are incrementing.Theres been occasional issues potentially around total and register 1 being used - on old 2 rate meters - even if were being used as TOU billing like Snug is (the 48 1/2 hr readings) when switching away or meter changes - in a few posts.1

believe we have managed to change the timings of the ALCS, so please keep an eye on the heating tonight. Additionally, during British Summer Time off peak timings are 1:30-8:30am.1 -
Hopefully they can tell you more about what they did and when with your meter settings to explain the changes ?
0822 sounds too late for Snug core though, but as I said above not sure if they extend that way as well.
Guess as vienna28 post tge 4-5pm slot dst for snug boost - 409 and 509 might be interesting or not if only a snug tests / mistaken / reversed transfer on Sat.1 -
Scot_39 said:I never directly looked at the tariff rates on my smart meter, I only looked at my in home display. It did show either snug off-peak rate or standard rate on the IHD, but because snug is a dynamic tariff (like Octopus agile) the IHD is not accurate. For example if on afternoon cheap rate, the IHD would still show peak rate, even though I knew I was on cheap rate. I've been on agile in the past, so with dynamic tariffs you have to get used to the IHD being inaccurate.........With Rosie's previous posts, she did show charts exactly like snug charts but in Rosie's 9:14am post it seems Sunday was back to E7. So maybe the Octopus smart metering team have been experimenting, trying to work out what EDF did to her meter.I'm sure everything will soon be sorted out. Though like everybody else, it is very confusing. 🥴2
