If you don't have programmable charge timers on the Heatstores or external timers, what are your new supplier doing with alcs timings if anything.
Iirc octopus snug reverts back to preset alcs calender- for them if come from e7 that's solid 7 hrs overnight to 7am iirc.
You iirc had that happen in May for a short period.

the guy who was really helpful was supposed to be taking over my case , but the emails are sighted by the same person as before
"I asked for this to be escalated and it doesn't appear to have been. I will be going to the ombudsman about this if it's not resolved to my satisfaction in the next few days. To not have my Smart Meter - which EDF Installed - correctly registered on the National Database is nothing but incompetent, and I've already sent a picture of it in response to a previous request. Someone with the correct authority should be able to have that resolved within hours/days at the most."
(The correct meter serial number is showing on your bills isn't it?).2 -
The mpan etc is all correct on my bills
I will email them again today with what you have written

I am in a better position than others , EDF have been installing twin element meters and all of the people in the RTS metering group I am in are having issues …Single or twin element for restricted 5 port single phase or triple element in 3 phase - has a specific meaning - its an indication of how many "independent" essentially current but with voltage - power / energy measurements the device is capable of.I am guessing you mean twin supply - edit 2 "maybe even twin MPAN" edit 2 end - often 5 port meters - giving live and restricted outputs.(*)AFAIK the ES12-B is a single element meter. It only has one measurement circuit. Common to both port 4 and port 5.Sadly EDMI appear to have taken down or moved the full manual links from googles cached search locations to be sure, but they have just released a new "summary sheet" last month - so maybe they are in process of updating them (you know the full one that you might have downloaded in Apr - included the route to menu tables for SC and live /kWh rate etc).EDITHowever @Rosie1001 - if you do mean twin element - it would be interesting to know the specific issues ?Are they public forums I can read without a user account ? And no I dont have facebook, twitter / whats app etc either.EDIT ENDThe only twin element meter I am aware of for sure - their could be more - just I have seen posts of suppliers using different models the 1412 - a 4 port+aux, 1416 and 1422 5 port here - and checked the series specs is the Aclara SGM1422-B, which judging by the line diagram in the manual - assuming the circles - without any A/V in them - is in fact the metering circuit "elements" - can measure the currents / add voltage too give power and energy on both it's output ports independently. But there are 2 other 5 port meters in the series that do not measure the ports independently, as are single element. But not sure how the twin measurements are configured to work in practice. As they could with the 1422-B model - in theory replicate should they choose older RTS / twin meter systems (like mine was was) with twin independent metering applying to different circuits1 -

I’ve have a look on the group and try and screen shot1

Blanked their names as they might not want to be on public forum1

Well twin element is in what looks like an edf response - but little detail.
And I do wonder if anyone else with say the model I mentioned is treated as having a 2 MPAN setup at other suppliers, I'll maybe search back here later.
I only hope enough get somewhere with EDF to get them to get their collective act together.
And whilst the mess continues, take to EO, write to their MPs, email the director etc.
Hopefully if enough do, it'll get raised as a systemic issue at oops EO and escalated so Ofgem will get involved, fines etc and hopefully rectification.

This group I am in , their stories are horrific…treating RTS customers so poorly it’s a scandal
Scottish power and EDF mainly1 -
It seems well outside the scope of individual complaints. The problem - particularly in rural areas - must surely be on many local MP's and for SP and Ovo(old SSE) - MSP's radars. That MP letter you posted - surely not the only one.It would be nice if Ofgem or another group actually did some proper analysis of how many of the million plus in the final push over last year or so coming off RTS - have ended up on far less suitable tariffs as a result. And then did something about fixing it.1
