An annoying task ticked off the list today. A birthday present was delivered to me 2 hours after I needed to leave home to visit the birthday person and I won't see them again until the end of July. So having paid the original postage I've now paid some more postage. Sigh! Anyway hopefully the recipient will be pleased with their gift.
I've also booked an appointment to start the process of drawing up our wills. This was loosely on our 2025 to do list so we are on track to achieve that, mostly due to holding myself accountable on this thread.4 -
How annoying @Blackcats, but at least it's sorted and wending it's way now 🤞
Marvellous work getting the wills appt booked, well done you4 -
Finished work shift and decided to keep walking in the opposite direction to home to get vegan omega supplements from superdrug.
For some reason this always turns into an OAT, maybe because I usually buy three tubs at a time so I note I'll be needing to get more when I open the last tub then there's a sense of 'background job that needs doing but isn't urgent enough to prioritise' for 90 days 🙄😂
Well they have been got, thanks today me, love from me in 85 days (who would usually be running around with no time going 'why didn't you just get them before, you had plenty of notice!')5 -
2 bags to the charity shop and whilst there we bought 2 great toys for 2 of our younger grandchildren. I also bought a box set of Mad Men series 1-4or 5 for £2.00. I used to enjoy watching this so I'm going to save it for the winter when the evenings are longer and colder and generally less glorious than June.
more fence painting done by MrLH and some more plants potted.
cleared the big whiteboard in our HQ room and have now made it tidy and organised so we can see what's what. We use it for weekly meal plan, shopping list and a week at a glance showing what we are doing. So much more pleasant to look at.4 -

Ah well done @redofromstart, must be very mixed feelings making these changes but hopefully with the sadness there's also a bit of excitement at getting things nice and how you want them and how they'll serve you3
