I've been away for a few days at the seaside which involved relaxing, chatting with chums, eating, drinking copious quantities of tea and small quantities of wine.
next week's task list has been compiled. It's actually helpful to write everything down even if they are minor things because that way they can't get forgotten and I don't have to remember not to forget to remember them 😉3 -
Rang my dad and again requested a date for a visit to visit my parents. I asked last year and neither of them came back to me … It’s been c. 3 years since I have seen them …
Made a veggie bolognese batch for tonight and the freezer.
Sent off the box of books for selling from the conservatory.KKAs at 15.07.25:

There's always a cupboard/shelf/drawer!
Bravo @Sallyforth for having done the tax return- though if you owe money have you put a note in your diary to remember to pay it at the end of the year?!
Time away and list-making sound grand @Blackcats
Ach that's a very big emotional 'oat' @KajiKita, hope you get a good response soon. Yaaas to veggie bol for tonight and freezer, and getting space back while earning money
I don't feel like I have done extra productiveness today but since Saturday is meant to be a 'day off' and we have done lots of build admin (including pleasantly managing our responses to someone who is somewhat trying) I am calling that a productive win!

Yeh, there’s layers and layers to that OAT @PennysIntoPounds. There’s part of me wondering why I am bothering … 🤷♀️
Yes, that definitely counts as a productive win 😊

I darned a sock (one of my favourite pair, so didn't want to throw it!) I'm still ploughing my way through DH's tax return and forms for student finance for DH's income and my income. Hopefully I'll have the answer to the question I have re the tax return by next weekend and also the credit int statements for several closed bank accounts may have arrived by then.... 🤞🤞
Broke up some empty boxes for recycling (got rid of the ones for the almost 5yo robot vac - I had the delivery box and inside there was a brown cardboard box with discrete branding on and then inside that the actual box for the robovac - and inside that all of the cardboard packaging and plastic bags that it was wrapped in in the box.....)
DH has been painting in DS3's new bedroom and should hopefully continue doing that tomorrow... he has a deadline of 2 weeks to get that one ready and also DS2's new bedroom and ensuite.... he needs to get a wiggle on!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £203 -
Hugs @KajiKita. You're bothering because you're a good person and it would niggle at your conscience if you didn't make the occasional effort. Darn consciences making us do the things!
If they don't engage that's up to them, you're a good daughter, family member, friend of many, partner, employee and manager, and obviously most importantly Chloe-servant x

(The Chloe-servant bit made me smile wryly … 😉😊)

Due to lady-pains I have not achieved much today but I did start and finish a whole book so I'm considering my achievement for today to have become a better-read person than I was yesterday!5

Finally got the osteospermums in the ground - no finesse, but they are in and watered 😊
