Had a last Sunday evening push and took pictures of an item, wrote the description, and listed it on vinted3

Finally did the transfer from my old I pad to the new one I bought 4 weeks ago. The old one is very old indeed and isn't holding a charge very well so I'm relieved that everything has transferred across ok.3

Is it "An Oat a day keeps the Zombies away"?
I need to break down my "Loaves of Oat Bread" into smaller OATS to get them done.

Pulled the tray of primula candelabra out of the fridge and brought it up into the kitchen to see if my attempt at stratification has worked … 🤞 ( @greenbee, in case you want to do yours as well 😊).All washing taken upstairs and put away 😊

A few of my candelabra germinated before I had a chance to put them in the fridge - so they're still on the windowsill.
Topped up the greenhouse pots (toms, cucs, peppers, aubergines) with new compost, and also fed them. Water goes right through the pots, which isn't great.
Tied up the broad beans and pinched out the tops of most of them. Pulled out one that was covered in black fly. PIcked some kale, then cut down the rest as it was covered in woolly aphids - it's now in the garden waste bin. I'm hoping I didn't eat too many aphids with my supper...
Peas are doing well... but also collapsing (they're short ones, which have hazel sticks and wire netting to climb up), so I'd tried tying them up. Lots of weeding also done, as well as cutting back of shrubs that are well overdue for it (even though the time isn't really right) to fill the garden waste bins.
Quite a lot of bare roots have been potted up over the last few days, but are at risk as the dog has helped himself thinking they are sticks. Hopefully he's getting the message, but sadly it means supervised time outside only until they start growing and stop looking like sticks.
Lots of seedlings need homes, so they'll be going in random places as it's not really the right time/weather to be digging new borders.
Picking lots of strawberries - need to think about what to do with them. I've been buying frozen strawberries to eat with yogurt during the winter, so maybe I should just freeze them whole.2 -
I'm shattered but have down as much as I can to get ahead. The spare room is now functional (and I repurposed the old velvet door curtain as a temporary window cover) so I have somewhere relatively dust and fume free to sleep. Doglet will not be happy as there isn't room for her bed.Need to clean the bathroom while my bath runs, and shift a few bits of my stuff over. I'll do the dust sheets first thing when I have the energy to do a proper job.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Well done @redofromstart
I must remember to- Sort out house insurance
- Track down missing Virgin points from March work trip (found the ticket number in the depths of my email) and see whether there are older ones missing I can also get credited
- Prep for book club (make notes for discussion, tidy rooms people might see, locate cushions in case we use the garden, work out food/drink including vegan options - it's only snacks, but I still need to think about it!)
- Pick elderflowers and make elderflower cordial
- Fill dog kongs/lick mats

@greenbee would vegetable sticks and hummus be a suitable snack for your book group? You then wouldn't need to have a separate vegan option 😉Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Food is pretty much all worked out, I just don’t want the vegan stuff to feel like a compromise. I’m looking at white bean/aubergine/artichoke ideas. And there will be strawberries. Lots of strawberries.I’ve FINALLY spoken to the bank about the fact that they hadn’t applied the change of address 2 years ago to all my accounts. And the fact that despite me closing a savings account they were still sending money to/from it. Plus the lack of any option to transfer existing ISAs (apparently I have to open the new one first, then transfer the old ones. The suggestion of transferring to my current account then opening new ones didn’t go down well… so I need to decide whether to keep them where they are (easiest to manage) and move to marginally better rates, or move. They’ve been with my other accounts for the last few years as they were/are potential house move/renovation funds. So still some decisions to make, but I’m a bit further along the process.5
