Anyone use the cinema rewards offer? I have had my Vue cinema voucher for September now by email (as usual) - I am assuming I won't get the remaining vouchers (as with the £5s for those getting them) up to my anniversary next May until later in the month. Have Halifax indicated when in October these bulk emails/payments will be done?

You won't get anymore cinema vouchers magazines, instead you'll get £5 for each remaining month on your reward account(s).

For cinema vouchers you'll get them in bulk in October.

Edited due to mixing up the magazine and cinema vouchers. :(

Cycled my £1500 just in case

You will still need to do that every month you have a Reward account open if you want to avoid the £3 monthly fee.

Yeah, planning on downgrading after the final payment.

    Are you sure about that.

This guide says that those getting the cinema reward will receive their remaining cinema vouchers (in bulk) up to their anniversary date - not the £5? So I would assume I get one email with multiple Vue vouchers?

Digital magazine reward users will get the £5 for each remaining month - but aren't remaining cinema rewards are via cinema vouchers?

    Anyone know definitively?

The  equivalent financial benefit is up to £14 (Vue premium seat prices in London at weekends) plus another £3.50 for half price popcorn - so worth up to £17.50.

Or £0 if your local Vue recently closed and the nearest is now over 1 hour away!  :/

And anyway, there are many other ways of getting Vue cinema tickets more cheaply than £14, for example you can get 2 tickets for £7 with O2, so you could argue that the Halifax voucher is only worth £3.50 if you are an O2 customer.

Looking to switch one of my Halifax rewards account to Barclays for the switching bonus . Thinking about it I guess there is enough time as the Barclays offer ends late Nov plus I've already qualified for the final payment and switched accounts direct funds accordingly. Cheers!

Those 02 offers (and others) only apply to the cheaper seats - you have to pay extra for more premium/VIP seats or some central London Lux branches which are free with the Halifax voucher. I am merely compared with the advertised prices if you book online for the best seats - which are £14.

    Works for us anyway.

In anycase we appear to be due Vue vouchers not fivers - in bulk - from the final pay out!

My understanding is that cinema tickets will be issued for the remainder of the term. Perhaps the confusion was with the magazine option, where £5 per month will be given instead.
