I was wondering if it was worth manually refreshing everything to give a clean 12 months but it seems all rewards will end in September/October regardless of when they are currently due to expire.

Been expecting this a little while but still sad to see it. Halifax have done very little in the way of promoting their current accounts since Summer 2023. 

Probably worth splitting to another thread.

maybe they'll up the cash reward to £10 per month. 

will be sad to see the cash reward go and annoying if they do indeed end it "mid" 12 month term.

you should start a new thread for this subject. we can all then start making guesses as to what the "rewards" will be. might also let folk reveal how many "reward" accounts they've actually had, assuming the new "rewards" will mean not keeping multiple accounts.

might be a fun thread to dull the pain.

Found this in the Reward Extra FAQ today on here.

I think there'd be cause for complaint if the existing rewards are cut short.

Bad news. I suppose the £5 monthly cash reward was too good to continue for ever

Potentially a few spare accounts available for switching incentives later in the year if the new rewards are disappointing. 

Luckily, 2 of my accounts would renew in December and the other in January so should be able to get the rewards on all 3 accounts until the end.

one would assume the £5 will continue till your 12 month runs out as that what it states each time you renew but theres a point made on the linked story in the OP that it may be ending September, FULL stop.
