I don't think it will end in Sep as would break the T&Cs On further reading they might b able change the Reward, trying to find the T&Cs of the actual account.pfpf said:
one would assume the £5 will continue till your 12 month runs out as that what it states each time you renew but theres a point made on the linked story in the OP that it may be ending September, FULL stop.pecunianonolet said:Potentially a few spare accounts available for switching incentives later in the year if the new rewards are disappointing.
Luckily, 2 of my accounts would renew in December and the other in January so should be able to get the rewards on all 3 accounts until the end.
EDIT, was looking at the Reward T&Cs, not main account T&CS

Agreed. Info was from a third party site quoting someone from Halifax who told him so all unverifiable whereas the above official Halifax black and white terms are clear (probably!)HillStreetBlues said:

Couple a weeks to entice some new customers in before the grim Rewards reaper enters the fray on 17th June! Or am I being cynical?🤨35har1old said:

I blame myself for the ended as only recently opened an account to get the reward, the kiss of deathYorkshire_Pud said:

Only have the one account but going to open another two, might as well milk it. Let's Be Careful Out There1 -
I just renewed my accounts to start the new Reward cycle form 1 June 2025, so I'm hoping I'll get it for the full year they promise in the Ts and Cs.
If so, then it's lucky my renewal cycle fell in this month as I assume anyone who's renewal comes up after 17 June won't be able to get another year.0 -
Unless there is something in the account T/C that allows them to change the rewards with 90 day notice? It would be surprising if they do not have that. Given 2 of the quoted rewards will be supplied by a 3rd party.Yorkshire_Pud said:

I noticed today on the Lloyds app it now comes up with logos of Halifax and Bank of Scotland alongside the black horse saying part of the same family so I wonder if they are planning to either introduce the Club Lloyds account to Halifax and Bank of Scotland or just keep a standard account on both of these and signpost people to move to Lloyds if they want the Club Lloyds account which makes sense.
Technically the Halifax brand could go and all customers moved to Lloyds since they only operate in England and Wales now but Bank of Scotland would be difficult to remove from Scotland as a lot of people would be up in arms and move elsewhere if they felt strongly about it. I think they've been wanting to do it for years but with the production of bank notes it makes it difficult although Virgin Money got round that one by staying registered as Clydesdale Bank.0 -

Technically that'd be a pretty big endeavour as it'd mean moving customers from the BOS license to the Lloyds Bank one. Not undoable but not the sort of thing which can be done with the stroke of a pen.1 -
When did your renewal become available? Was it 1st May to renew 1st June? Or was it only in the last few days?granta said:I just renewed my accounts to start the new Reward cycle form 1 June 2025, so I'm hoping I'll get it for the full year they promise in the Ts and Cs.

Mine renew in July so I'm hoping I can renew before 17th June.0
