If so, then it's lucky my renewal cycle fell in this month as I assume anyone who's renewal comes up after 17 June won't be able to get another year.
Mine renew in July so I'm hoping I can renew before 17th June.1 -

Mine renew in July so I'm hoping I can renew before 17th June.My renewal was due near the end of June. I've just been able to renew and got a confirmation message that the reward applies until June 2026. The reward tracker still shows the 2025 date though. So it looks like the renewal option comes available a bit more than a month before the renewal date.2 -

Luckily, 2 of my accounts would renew in December and the other in January so should be able to get the rewards on all 3 accounts until the end.

The changes are now mentioned on the Halifax website:
https://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/current-accounts/reward-current-account.html
"Reward Current Account is getting a refresh later this year. To make way for this, from 17 June 2025, you’ll no longer be able to add Reward Extras to your account or renew an existing Reward Extras offer. Watch this space for more information on the new benefits coming very soon."0 -

All we know is that the Rewards scheme is being refreshed later this year.
No one knows (other than Halifax) what they'll be replacing it with. Maybe they'll get rid of the £5, maybe they won't. Maybe we'll have to do something different to get £5.
"Halifax told me that the whole account is being revamped, and that there will be new rewards later this year – but they couldn’t tell me what these are just yet. The new features will be announced in July."
In other words he knows no more than the rest of us but has assumed and presented as fact that the £5 will be scrapped. Fake news and shoddy writing.
