Are those who are missing a £5 from one of their accounts, aware of the expiry date of the offer on that particular account? I have 2 of my 3 paid out but to me that was expected, because when they announced they were retiring the deal they also stopped anyone who had a deal coming to an end from renewing. As a result when my account reached the end of last years offer 31/08/25 I couldn't renew and therefore Sept was my last payment. The other accounts had later expiry dates and therefore got paid this month.

    Just a thought ;)

Yep, that explains it for me! Sort of, anyway. The two that were not paid had a renewal date of 14/09 and I was unable to renew these. Whilst the three they did pay on had a renewal date of 13/07, and I am pretty certain I renewed those before the renewal option vanished on June 17. So there should be more to come by end of October.

But shouldn't I have received a fiver for the accounts with a 14/09 renewal date? I deposited my £1,500 and spent £500 on each of those accounts on 01/09, so fulfilled the  requirements for September

What's the situation here? I thought we were going to get the remaining months paid up yet I've only been given £5 as usual.

I have 3 accounts, wife has 3 accounts. £5 on each in October. I was expecting £15 on each since we're supposedly getting the remainder of the year paid up.

I cycle £2k monthly, INCLUDING this month.

The only difference is that this month I didn't 'spend' £500 on anything ....... because I believe the offer end was end of September and the fact NS&I take forever to allow that money to come back to you (approx. 2 weeks for the full process).

Regardless, if the £500 was the sticking point then I wouldn't have the £5 never mind the £15 I was expecting so it can't/shouldn't be that.

Between us we have five accounts. I check each one at the end of each month. No payment has ever been missed in several years, and I doubt that will be any different this month. I'm certainly not going to fuss over it.
    And good for you.

But for those who DO want to fuss over getting some money .... you concentrate on not fussing & let others who want to fuss, fuss. :)

The rewards £5 is always paid in arrears, hence the £5 we were paid yesterday is for qualifying for the rewards in September in the usual manner. My understanding is that September was the last month of the usual rewards.

Separately we are expecting to be paid out the remaining of our reward terms, and it's now looking like this will be a seperate payment which is due by the end of this month.

Received the usual £5 for each of our four accounts. As mentioned above also cycled £1500 through each account but that is purely to avoid any reward account fee.

I would imagine that after the final pay out yesterday perhaps they are running some sort of report to finalise all the final final payments, lol!

Got £5 rewards for completing September requirements. Final rewards will be paid out at end of October. I am not sure if £500 debit card withdrawals for October are now necessary to qualify for remaining final payments. Perhaps it is best to play safe and do the October £500 withdrawals?

Only to avoid the fee if still a Reward account in November.

The £1500 monthly pay in is to avoid the £3 monthly fee. It has nothing to do with the rewards. It won't be required once you downgrade to fee-free account after the final rewards are paid out.

Depends if you're cool with paying the £3 account fee. I suspect if you downgrade before November it will not be charged, but on the other hand why risk it :)
