The question asked was whether you can use the card or via google pay to which I answered that I have verified that you could indeed qualify using the debit card on the app. I am not sure how I could be any clearer in my post that answered the question completely.harz99 said:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Sorry, but you didn't verify anything relating to THIS switch offer, you made a general statement relating to a "few" switch bonuses you have had in the past, then you go on to talk about the Fairer Share payment which again isn't THIS switch offer and has totally different T&Cs.Nasqueron said:

Although I received the £200 switch reward, I queried why I initially received the 1% cashback on my debit card and the 5% for having £1500 continually in my account since opening it and then the cashback stopped and the 5% was reduced to 1%. I have been able to open the Regular Saver account.
I also queried why I had received less for a full month than I had for the 1st part month. I was told that because I had previously had the incentives in 2020 that I was not entitled to them in 2025. I was also told that 1% on the £1500 only starts when a £1000 has been deposited into the account even there has continuously been £1500 throughout each month in the account. Therefore if your salary goes in towards the end of the month you will only receive interest for a short period, so the trick is to transfer £1000 at the start of each month. I have not seen these restrictions in the T&Cs0 -
The Flex Direct account requires £500 a month deposit regardless of how much you keep in, in to qualify for the 5% interest. It also only lasts a year then drops to 1%. Both are in the termsioscorpio said:Although I received the £200 switch reward, I queried why I initially received the 1% cashback on my debit card and the 5% for having £1500 continually in my account since opening it and then the cashback stopped and the 5% was reduced to 1%. This was verified as I explained multiple times, using the debit card via google pay counts for the qualificationharz99 said:

I have deposited the £1,000 monthly requirement, this is a new account so expected 5% for 1 year, the same as my previous account in 2020. I have not kicked off about it in case they take back the £200 switch reward. They have allowed some parts of the switch offer like the regular savings account but not all aspects of the offer. Surely you're entitled to all of switch entitlements or none of them.0

The FlexDirect account's introductory offer, the switching bonus and the Flex Regular Savings are all separate things.ioscorpio said:I have deposited the £1,000 monthly requirement, this is a new account so expected 5% for 1 year, the same as my previous account in 2020. The FlexDirect introductory bonus is strictly once ever.
The switching bonuses have all been worded such that you can have 1 (+1 joint) since 2021.
The Flex Regular Savings account is available to all Nationwide current account holders, and is only limited to one of any issue at any one time (you can open a new one the day after it matures or is closed).2 -
Can you switch a joint account?0
-
Yes. Nationwide is the rare exceptions where they will pay out two incentives - one for for a sole switch and one for a joint switch.gerrard88 said:Can you switch a joint account?
