I am thinking of paying £200 off my debt a month and freezing my credit card so I have to wait to use it. I think this could work well for me.Credit card 2000

As in, you put it in a mug, fill the mug with water and put it in the freezer. Then you can’t get it out. It really works.Credit card 2000

Yes
You also need to delete it from Google/Apple pay and if it's details are saved on websites, there too...itsthelittlethings said:I am thinking of paying £200 off my debt a month and freezing my credit card so I have to wait to use it. I think this could work well for me.2 -
I went out for a walk this evening. I bought some shoes that I needed for £16.99 (leather I think) and £15 worth of stuff from B and M which is a good shop. Everything is about 40p cheaper than the other supermarkets and they have brands. That comes out of next week’s money. I transferred £5 onto a card for coffee tomorrow morning. Then I won’t be able to go out and buy anything at lunch.
Now I have £55 left for a week starting Friday.Credit card 2000

HSBC emailed me about a 0% balance transfer today. Could save my bacon.

I’m just starting to leave my cards at home and only take out my Monzo card, which has weekly spending on. I cannot be trusted with my own money at all. The only problem is Monzo doesn’t always work on the bus but luckily I live in a small town so everything is walkable.
I cut up my main bank account card. It’s purely a feeder account now.
I have about £250 spending money to the end of the month. It’s 4th today so 26 days to go.Credit card 2000

My sister and her boyfriend may be coming over for dinner on Tuesday. I promised them fish with potatoes and vegetables. The fish will cost about £12. I have potatoes and low fat mayonnaise so I can make potato salad. I don’t know what vegetables are seasonal now. If I’m too tired I will just make peas out of the freezer.Credit card 2000

Transferred £60 over to weekly spending. It’s quite good just using my Monzo.
4 x 7 is 28, leaving me 32 for the week.
£4 is the price of a coffee, if you’re wondering what the maths is about. I don’t think I have any other commitments this week. I need to buy two tins of tomatoes for dinner on Tuesday (am actually making pasta bake as I have all the other ingredients). I also need washing up liquid which is about £3. Also I should get some decaf coffee just in case I run out. That’s an Aldi or Lidl job.
No luxuries this week.

I found some tinned tomatoes so I’m cooking tomato sauce. I cook it for about two hours so it goes really nice.
