    Only the One😊

    As stated previously Our HB(Hounsing Benifit) was £127.08 per week✅

    This equates to £550.68per month✅

    So Why have we recieved only half £275.34 of the UC Hounsing element?

    Is this just a blip/one off & will the full Hounsing element be in next months UC payment?

    Cheers TimeLord1👍

    Any thoughts/comments anybody💕

    Thanks All✌️

    How did you report your housing costs? Did you say you and your partner are both named on the tenancy? If yes, what figure did you put down as your rent liability?

    Yes reported 2 people on tenancy agreement✅ (me& wife)

    Reported rent liability;
    £110.06 per week total(my share total £55.03✅
    Service charge £17.02 perweek total(my share total £8.51)

    So as stated& reported;
    Total rent with service is;£127.08 per week which equates to £550.68 per Month😊

    As stated previously we were recieving £127.08 on HB(Hounsing Benifit)

    Thanks to Yamor😊 “Hope this info helps”👍

    That will be the issue.

    You should have put your total rent on this screen, not just your half:

    You should also "Report a change" and update correct rent under "Where you live and what it costs"

    Lots of people with a service charge will put it as a total with the rent payable, but it needs to be calculated separately rather than together. Of course they have a total amount that they'll pay the landlord, but it can create issues further along.

    You may get a further message to agree to claimant commitments because it's possible they class it as an updated change of circumstances. It just depends if they see it as their error or you stating it's not correct.

    Re; Hounsing Element; So we gave our new rent& service charges increases for the new tax year! Total£131.76 per week✅. This equates to £131.76x52 equals 6851.52 divide by 12 equals £570.96✅. So our new monthly housing UC award should be this figure £570.96(yes). Please confirm; Thanks. Also we have just looked on UC journal & the figure they have stated for the Hounsing Element is £285.48☹️. Could someone Please explain this/any thoughts? We have sent a journal entry disputing this amount. Also with regard to all the new Increases since April,the old rates of the Benifits,UC,State pension,NSesa(All of them) have Not Changed☹️. Can someone please explain👍. Thanks to All👍
