I too keep these odd accounts open as I found that those trailing bits of interest disappear if you close the account. Every 5p gratefully received, or put another way why should they keep it.3

Actually done some OATs today 😊
- Ordered a new prescription! Meant to do this days ago, so I am glad this is sorted now 😊
- Repotted a foliage plant in the bathroom after wiping its leaves down and giving it a good drink. It looks a lot happier.- Put away a large bag of travel bits and pieces (travel towel, hairdryer, cables, adapters etc etc) that was left over from clearing the ex-work bags in the conservatory a while back.- Helped Mr KK clear a huge heap of fir branches that the electric cables company left in our garden from next door’s trees, all over our raspberries bed.- Moved another 1/4 of the m2 bag of chipped bark - to under the contorted hazel and the cleared raspberry patch. They both look amazing 😊👏
- Mr KK tackled a serious OAT - way back last summer, when we did the bathroom, we had a section of painters calk come away from the wall, looked messy. Finally, this evening, he has recalked it and it seems like it is sticking this time 🤞👏

Well done all! 🏆
A couple of small things for me today - finally got round to ordering shelf brackets and curtains rings, which takes us a step closer to finishing a couple of bigger OATs 😊3 -
I did the two lots of emails that were young little OATs.
Tomorrow I'll have a good look for some proper old OATs I might be able to do on the last day.

Yesterday was a tired day but I did one tiny OAT, finally ordered the handrail brackets (that Mr Redo selected as suitable and left in the Azn basket six months ago!) before the current ones finally rust through. The bigger challenge will be actually fitting them obviously. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Not sure if I said, but I sharpened every pencil in the house the other evening.
Washed the bedroom curtains
Also I finally made a BT appt, that was due last month
Finally took the metal and small electrical bits to the tip, that have been waiting in the shed for ages.
Sun is out and I finally feel motivated to get on and do stuff. Tomorrow I have an appt in the morning and then trying Barre Pilates at lunch time. After that I intend to come home and tidy up the garden ready for starting to get plants in.
I also have some seeds I need to get into trays in the window sill.Making the debt go down and savings go up

The first step of a task is the most important one @redofromstart, well done
Yes indeed @short_bird, though there's still the rest of today to March Forward into Spring!
Excellent work @Makingabobor2
I have managed to fit in selling one of the defunct ancient laptops for a fiver which I'm very pleased with, finally repotted my two tradescantias, and made great inroads into the receipt survey pile- done ten, with the oldest so far being from last August!

RIP Mum & Dad - thanks for helping me on my journey to be
Debt and Mortgage free from 20183 -
Saving the best til last ..... I rang v media, pressed button 1, button 4, button 5, button whatever and got cut off but did not give up. Started again and after careful navigation got through to a human. At the end of the call I had managed to avoid my dad's contract increasing by £33 a month 🙀 and I got an 18 month contract for £23 less than he is currently paying. Perhaps the message has got through to these companies that their exorbitant charges and obscene out of contract prices will lose them customers.
so thanks entirely to this thread I am ending the month with so many things ticked off my list that would not have been tackled.
@Makingabobor2 - sharpening pencils is an underrated joy. I now want to find some pencils and a sharpener and try to make really long sharpenings.
WELL DONE TO US ALL!6
