    Yep :)

I've just added your query to an older thread that has some recipes and good links. Posts are listed in date order so you'll need to read from the beginning to catch up with us all.

I made the ones from the downsizer site and they were terrific :)

    Good luck.

I serve mine to the whole family as a mexican Toasted sandwich!!!!

Cook the pepper, onions, chicken and seasoning in a frying pan.

Put a tortilla in another pan (dry) and sprinkle with grated cheese (low heat). Once melted, remove from pan and put in another one...cheese again and some of the chicken mixture then pop the already cheesed tortilla on top.

Cut in wedges once melted both sides and serve with sour cream (or nice yogurt),salsa (tomatoes chooped up with herb and shallots) , guacamole (seasoned avocado puree) and beans.

    Very Nice.

    Makes me hungry again :D
I do this too, the only difference being, I mix the veggies with the cheese, then place it on top of the tortilla, stick another one on top and bung in the oven for 5 or 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Does anybody make there own or just buy them ready made. I've looked up various recipes but they are recipes for the fillings and all of them included ready made tortilla.

I'm sure it's probably obvious, but this is me were talking about so I haven't a clue

Hang on, there's a thread somewhere that links to a great post on downsizer about making your own.

I'll merge to it as soon as I find it :)

The page has changed to PDF format since those early posts. It's the first section in this file:-

    Hi all

I have tried and tried to make lovely soft fluffy tortilla wraps, but always end up with crispy discs like poppadoms but without the flavour. I tried turning the heat down, and turning it up - I've now given up. What can I do instead of using the frying pan? Would using the grill work?

    Hi SnowyOwl,

Try making them a little thicker (I also made a few poppadom inspired tortilla's when I first made them !)
