Spread with spready cheese, then top with ham slices. Then you can just roll it up like a cigar. Chop it into small chunks, and it looks good for a buffet type thing (my kids love it when I do them a snack plate with this and other stuff)

My dh is into spreading peanut butter on them, and sprinkling with a few raisins. This can be just rolled as well, as the filling won't fall out.

One of my favourite fillings is egg mayo, with chopped up bits of tomato, cuecumber and onion. I do fold it properly, but I still manage to get in a mess!

I have heard that if you fold it, wrap it tightly in clingfilm, and leave it in the fridge overnight, then it is more 'together' when you come to eat it.

We like salad in ours (with salad cream, yum)!!!! If you cut it in half (like a sandwich) they stay together a bit better, but the filling always seem to fall out!!!!

Try leftover chilli, folded over into a cigar shape and topped with cheese. Put in the oven for about 30 mins or so until warm and the cheese has browned. Yum!!

mmmm that might be tea tomorrow night,

Warm them slightly in the microwave before you use them, much easier to fold.

Tuna mayo with cucumber is yummy.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I serve mine to the whole family as a mexican Toasted sandwich!!!!

Cook the pepper, onions, chicken and seasoning in a frying pan.

Put a tortilla in another pan (dry) and sprinkle with grated cheese (low heat). Once melted, remove from pan and put in another one...cheese again and some of the chicken mixture then pop the already cheesed tortilla on top.

Cut in wedges once melted both sides and serve with sour cream (or nice yogurt),salsa (tomatoes chooped up with herb and shallots) , guacamole (seasoned avocado puree) and beans.

    Very Nice.

    Makes me hungry again :D

    mmmmmmmmmm

I love fajitas (made with the packet stuff  :D ) with grated cheese and sour cream and chive dip.

If I have any steak or beef (a tiny bit cut into thin slivers) then I put a very thin spread of strong garlic butter on a tortilla and pop it in a dry frying pan, then I add grated cheese, steak, fried mushrooms and a dash of lea and perrins. Let it all melt and warm up then fold it over and serve  ...V V V hungry now
Just run, run and keep on running!

Try this mix for your fajitas, from this site
    http://www.topsecretrecipes.com/recipedetail.asp?sessionid=&login=yes&id=98&agree=yes

It's yummie and only costs a few pennies a time to mix. The onion powder/granules are a bit tricky to find, but tescos sell them, and probably an ethnic grocers. HTH

    Hiya :)

We have an older thread on wraps which includes links to a good recipe and even a hint on how to fill them without breaking up, so I've merged them together for you. The usual rules apply - since posts are listed in date order you'll need to read from the beginning to catch up with us all :)
