Love a good plunger - one of our sinks often gets blocked when the kids are staying/shaving in a bathroom we don't otherwise use a lot. Wouldn't be without itI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine3 -
We have needed one in each bathroom. Had to unblock the toilet just last week.4

Sun_Addict said:Enjoy time with your family. Hope the duvets are good 🤞I have a funny story about plumbers and plungers - in a previous job the office junior had to call out a plumber to the toilets and when he arrived she was downstairs. I directed him to the affected toilet and told him to warn her he was on his way. He shouted down the stairs ‘I’m here with my big plunger’ 🤣🤣 Her reaction was priceless 🤣🤣1

A lovely weekend with family, but trying to keep a little one entertained was exhausting. I opted for cinema yesterday afternoon for a rest. Cinema costs a fortune! But it was fun
I miss them now...
Wash load of bedding done and out drying
6 white onions
3 red onions
5 large tomatoes
1 giant courgette
1 aubergine
1 large white cabbage
1 cauliflower
1 small red pepper
2 apples
1 mango
2 nectarines
1 dodgy peach
1 pear
Nice chat with a fellow veg box buyer. We are now fine tuning, so not fullest box, but box we need for recipes planned or things we need
Nice chat with a friend outside her house on my way back
Today is rest, cook, read, clean
Cooking a tomato and feta tortilla, and chickpea curry to be saved for tomorrow when new guests arrive. I cooked a batch of chickpeas to save money but they are also so much tastier too!
Hope you have a good start to the week all

Dia, it is indeed tiring entertaining children, the cinema was a great idea! It's come to something when you can't trust JL to deliver a basic like bedding. Good you got the alternative retailer to rise to the occasion! Hope your first lot of guests work out well2

I made a tortilla that was unsuccessful! Too wet, so lots of juicy tomato is not a good idea. A tortilla needs dry ingredients like mushrooms, cheese or chorizo. I will eat it anyway and not make that mistake again...
I bought a toaster. Half price in local electrical shop but still an expense I can do without. It is a decent stainless steel one with good reviews. I also need money for a niece's birthday in the next few days as I can't put that on my cc. Then, just now a phone call. One of the younger relatives phoning to get my bank details to return some moneyI make a point never to chase money loaned. I write it off and put it down to experience. So, the call was totally unexpected. I can now send some money to my niece. It covers the toaster purchase and gives me a little extra too. A good outcome

So up early and another walk by the sea and up the hill to Mr L. I got a veg box. We have started trading so I gave a white cabbage (have at home) in exchange for a red one and gave a bag of Jerseys for a red pepper
Last minute tinkering swallowed up my day.
I added a lampshade, found a bedside light for one room, hoovered, cleaned and changed beds after the family visit. Food all sorted. I will be doing slow cooker stuffed tomatoes using the brown rice left overt from this evenings meal. I bought some flowers. Both rooms look really nice. I would be happy turning up here
A friend is giving me a lift to pick them up and bring them here. I walk them to the college in the morning so they know where they are going.
Let the action commence!
Hope everyone is having a good enough day
