7 large tomatoes
1 yellow pepper
4 onions
2 mangoes
1 honey dew melon
large white cabbage
1 lime
2 jacket potatoes
7 satsumas
3 oranges
1 medium avocado
2 apples
I got my walk in and obviously a Mr L box was had. All good but tomatoes are soft so I plan to make a veggie chilli that I will freeze for next week's guests. A white cabbage will be kept and used for a coleslaw. Going to make a tahini dressing using the lime.
Today is a slow sorting day. Still trying to wrestle the house into some sort of order.
A plumber is due to pop in to check the loo

Thanks @Seasidegal58 I have to admit to not doing it!....yet...great position to be in re your weight loss
So, I have a family visit this weekend. Not best timing as others guests next week, but family first Plus a younger member who I have been missing greatly is also coming. Everything has been dropped to get ready for her arrival. I've cooked a few things for them that I will also do next week for my guests, so good to have a rehearsal. On the menu is a wild garlic and tomato tortilla and a butterbean stew with feta!
The Swedish store just emailed and the new duvets will arrive this afternoon, just in time for the weekend guests. Hopefully they will be better quality than JL. I've got some veggie stock on for a soup and will pop into the local co0p to see if they have any flowers (hopefully discounted)
I need a toaster so will pop into our local electrical shop to see if there is anything at a reasonable price...
The plumber was a £40 callout and literally one plunge and two minutes later they left.
They used a plunger I've seen on line, so will buy it to ensure I can DIY in future. At least it is usable now...
Hope everyone is having a reasonable day.
It is sunshine and showers here, but I can hear the wind rattling down the chimney!

I've had duvets from the Swedish gaff and they are good quality, washable and have lasted for a good long while so far. Enjoy time with the family over the weekend and food sounds yummy.4

Enjoy time with your family. Hope the duvets are good 🤞I have a funny story about plumbers and plungers - in a previous job the office junior had to call out a plumber to the toilets and when he arrived she was downstairs. I directed him to the affected toilet and told him to warn her he was on his way. He shouted down the stairs ‘I’m here with my big plunger’ 🤣🤣 Her reaction was priceless 🤣🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
