Lol I nearly went for f&c at lunchtime but it was pouring with rain and I was overwhelmed by sadmin & couldn’t get motivated so I had soup.
Glad your joints are less sore.

Thank you. I know they are improved as I can walk up my stairs without holding the bannisters.
Soup is good too! I hope the sadmin can be eased up on at least for the weekend

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I forced myself out of the house this morning after a long morale boosting chat with bestie. There was no sun but I still felt better for being outside.
I seem to have bought another painting. I know, but it literally took my breath away. I live in an area where I have to pass lovely little galleries out to trap me! I sometimes take a back street just to avoid temptation. I'm sorry-not-sorry. I got 16% off the price and I can pay over 3 months. It is someone I sort of know through someone else. It is so beautiful.
I thought the best way to handle it is to sell something, combined with having lots of NSDs and a seriously low food budget. It might help with my mood in a way as I will be going back to the Mr L boxes. I need to get there early to get them so that sets me up for the day. I will be creating meals around them. It is doable.
But, a new WM, a part paid for wardrobe and a painting are all expensive items (to me) They are all practical, but the painting will bring me joy
Another expense will be the osteopath/physio next week, who comes very highly recommended. If my joints and back can be helped and I can get some exercises that will help it will be worth it.
I had a half decent walk. I need a walk daily. Bestie suggests I also need to do stretching or yoga when I wake too…no point moaning if I am not doing the best I an to help myself.
Feeling a bit better and ready to turn this around!
I hope you have had a good-enough day

Me again…Just to add, it took me a few days to do it but I washed my hair and groomed my eyebrows. Felt much better after doing those 2 simple self care tasks. Must remember that for the future…
Also, I am thinking of trying £25 a week for food for four weeks starting on Monday. I have bits and pieces in the cupboards I can use up, so it should be doable

I like Sarah Beth yoga on YouTube. She does videos by length and by ability. 10 minute yoga videos are great

The £25 a week for 4 weeks sounds good. I was able to get a walking pad quite cheaply to use on days I don’t feel like going out.

Painting sounds an investment for joy, and you are more than capable of paying for it, and the other current spend needs.
It's a satisfying challenge to see what you can sell that you don't want, and what you can eat that you're currently not making best use of, when the challenge is for a good reason 🥂
I would like to be the sort of person who starts the day with yoga and whatnot, and maybe I will be in the future but for now while I'm brushing my teeth I rotate my ankles and waist, and wrists and neck while swapping toothbrush over to over side and hand. It at least provides morning amusement of how little coordination there is 😁 I think people who can pat their head and rub their belly are astonishing

The painting sounds amazing and you’ll get so much enjoyment out of it.

Dia think of your painting as part of your food budget, but food for your soul instead of your tummy ☺️
