It might be worth looking up how you 'pair' the remote to the boiler as it may have lost the wireless connection.

I agree @doingitanyway that the house is there to serve you, not vice versa. Tail wagging dog? Love Humdinger xx

Thank you. The central problem is not resolved. However, I now know how to get heating without the remote so I had warmth today 😊
Exactly that 😊
I think that is something I need to look into. Thank you 😊
Thank you 😊
Thank you @Tresinia511 I so agree. The buffer zone IS more relaxing than a glass of wine…although booth are good 😊
Today my DB came to visit and got my CH working manually. There is still an issue with the remote but that can wait as I can now access heat.
We had a lovely day doing lots of walking, which we both love to do. We had some nice food in a little restaurant I have been wanting to visit for a while. We had a nice catchup. I spent some money as I was taking advantage of his car and getting a lift with heavy things.
The walking helped with my back and leg. They both feel less sore than they did.
I had a shelf I no longer want that we dropped off at a friend's house.
TV and lots of tea for the rest of the evening
I hope you have enjoyed your day too

What a delightful and productive day, and big hurrah for heating!

Thank you. It really was! 😊
Thank you. To misquote Beatrice Kaufman, I've been cold and I've been warm. Warm is better 😊
Yesterday was busy but the weather by the sea was awful. I thought I would be blown away. I made it to yoga after mega procrastination. I was late, but I got there. Teacher noticed my stiffness and soreness…I missed an afternoon appointment. I made it to the evening film (but only because I was picked up and dropped back) I went to support someone but it confirmed I won't be doing it again in the evening at that venue in Winter. In cold, wet, dark weather if I go out in the evening I need to be able to walk there in 5 minutes, or not going.
I felt I needed an 'at home' day so I am still in my housecoat. Plants have been watered. A bathroom has been cleaned. A big chicken and veggie stew made. A NSD claimed. Where I live, most shops stay open at the weekend and are closed on Mondays. So, I'm thinking it should be a default NSD generally.
I haven't done a wash in the new WM yet. It has turned into a stress point because of past issues. I need to overcome that and stick a wash in. Better still, as part of the nighttime routine I want to load the machine ready to to go on when I wake.
I'm going to make biscuits to use up some almond flour. Really simple…almond flour, maple syrup and almond butter (so GF and Ve)
I am enjoying the calm and organised downstairs space
I need a finance rejig after the new wm and DB visit
Will leave the house briefly to declutter a teapot and 2 books to the CS.
A bag of awkward rubbish out of the house needed
Posting on tech section as I am thinking through concerns with Minted

I’m still in my PJ’s. Most likely gave neighbours a fright taking out rubbish & getting things from car 🤣

Dia, I love a chill day. It's not a proper chill day unless you have pj's on. Or in your case, your posh new housecoat
