I left a broken washing machine on the front of our drive, ready to take to the tip the following day. Some kind soul turned up during the night and took it, literally, saved me and Oh a job anyway.

Things magically disappear here too. I leave them outside and think if they are still there in a week or so I'll think about how to remove it and mostly the scrap goes.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Thanks everyone 😊
The washing machine is on the move again. Despite anti vibration pads. I hadn't been using it as I could sense it still wasn't right. I told myself 'not to be silly and I was just being unnecessarily anxious' but lo and behold, the same problem. I had the wm I bought SH and now the posh new one. Company blaming my floor for not being even but it was even enough for the 8 months it was working…It is clearly an issue. I wish I had just gone to JL as they may not be perfect but complaining to them is easier and I know how to do it. With a local company I have to pass them on the street every day. I have phoned my plumber and it may need wedging in place with wood. Really, really peed off about it!!!
In other news I was accepted for a choir. I always saw myself in a choir at this life stage but the one I wanted to go to was awkward without a car. This is a new one and a five minute walk from my house 😊
I'm sure there are other things to update but the bloody WM is blocking everything else out…

Feeling slightly better after a good moan to DSis. DB happened to be there, so he is going to drive down next weekend to help me sort it out 😊

I love choirs! Is it a community one or one of the big ones? I recent joined one of the big ones. Is great fun but my main problem with joining one is they all seem to be in the evening. Same with line dancing, which also seems to be evenings. I prefer daytime activity myself, as even in the summer I don't really like to go out after 4pm. Not sure why I'm like this but I am! I could start my own daytime line dancing group i suppose but a choir might be a push😁

Boo to the washing machine but glad you’re getting some help with it. I hope DB can sort it out for you 🤞

Great news about the choir. Not so great about the WM. Hope DB can sort it.
