Thanks @Watty1 and @Humdinger1 and @jwil I am very excited about choir ☺️
Thanks @Sun_Addict I'm not very good at accepting or asking for help so it is nice that DB will be coming at the weekend
Thanks @Tresinia511 I'm not sure what would constitute a big choir…small I think and definitely a community choir which is what I wanted. I'm like you and much prefer daytime finding it hard to venture out in the cold and dark especially. But this is so close. Part of the reason I wanted to live here is being close to so many 'happenings'
As soon as I got up I started stressing about the WM. The clothes were wet despite doing a full cycle, so it isn't just the vibration on spinning. I hung the wet washing outside on a rare dry day!
I learnt a lesson, and it is this: I am much better at asserting my consumer rights with a corporate. A local business where I might see them all daily (literally on my street) does not work for me. In future I will be sticking to j0L who are not perfect but I know how they operate. I am tempted to buy a new WM and donate the old one to a charity who fixes them for families on a low income. Luckily I have a no CT month and my vegbox is on a break, so I might be able to get this sorted without touching my EF
Today I went to yoga and had coffee with someone from the group after. It was nice. I relaxed and felt better after.
I have a busy (not @jwil or @Sun_Addict busy) week
I hope you had a relaxing Sunday

I'm starting to think you have the same WM as me, as I have similar problems!
I agree, it's much easier to get stroppy with a large company than a small local one."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
I do buy things from specific companies because I know they'll be less of a pain to deal with if something goes wrong. Even when it's more expensive to do so. I think of it as the real meaning of value for money.

Thanks @jwil not just me then!
Thanks @WelshmansDaughter I totally agree. It wasn't the price…in fact they are the same price as j0L if not slightly more expensive. It was more wanting to support local businesses. But it didn't work out for me…

It might be worth mentioning it to them in a 'no worries in my case but thought you'd like to be aware' way, as I'm sure they'd appreciate knowing if their small business is being supplied with unreliable stock

It would be the nice thing to do @PennysIntoPounds but I want to put it behind me, so they'll have to do their own quality control

I’m glad you accepted the offer of help. I rarely get offers of this kind that are truly meant. On the odd occasion I’ve asked for help I’ve been refused so I no longer ask ☹️

could you email the wm manufacturer and let the know the issue?

Blimey. That's so shocking on the WM. I bought my DS one before christmas and its having problems already. What's going on. I personally would persevere with your WM but i can see why you are not.

Thanks, you all make sense.
However, I'm not telling the full story. The shop have already been to check the fault twice. I ended up buying anti-vibration pads. The 'fitters' who I paid to install as extra, put the WM directly on the ground instead of using the feet supplied. Telling me they were not necessary. A quick google search shows they ARE. And damage to floors and machine could occur by not using them….The company also suggested the 'modern' machines need balancing when loading laundry. I could push it and probably win but I don't have the energy. Fed up being gas-lit. I could go on, but won't. No, drawing a line and moving on. I have already ordered the new machine
