Thanks @beanielou @Sun_Addict @PennysIntoPounds for positive vibes 😊
Thanks @Sunshine_girl2 😊 I was in talks to run a creative thingy but then I went away. I have chased in the past few days and was told my idea had been discussed and given the go ahead, so I need to get a grip on that. The PT manager needs chasing as I wasn't given a date, just February (and it is February now…)
Thanks @Tresinia511 for your helpful and considered post 😊 I am laying the foundations, so I can get on with it!
The last few days I have been clearing, creating new spaces and moving books. The loft is slowly emptying out and the house is becoming more workable. It is hard work, but I am pleased with it. There is an organiser who says a shelf is a container and I am sticking to that. I have adequate bookshelves now and if the books cannot fit something will have to go in future…This time around I found 5 books to give new homes to 😏
Clothes have been pruned with a large bag created for Minted (when I get around to selling…)
My thoughts are turning to my little patio garden. I have a very high wall and wondering if I can have a tall thin shed attached to the wall. This house has taken a long time to come together because I couldn't afford to buy things I needed immediately. I think the time has worked in my favour. @in_need_of_direction said words to the effect of 'sometimes circumstances conspire to give us more time' and I think that is true.
I made a chickpea pancake thingy as I had a bit of leftover flour. Then I used some stock to make a tomato and pumpkin soup
A friend gave me a lift to a SM so I don't have to lug groceries around this week. Helpful as my back and joints are a little sore, probably all the moving furniture and books!
I did yoga yesterday and one of the women I like suggested we have coffee after class next week, so that is nice. Tomorrow is ChiGong if I can wake up on time this time!
Cold and so, so grey here
I hope your week got off to a good enough start

I did see a video of someone who made a tall thin shed from an IKEA bookcase. It was attached to a wall and opened out

Thank you. That is exactly what I am thinking of but it would need to be waterproof…

The cleaning and sorting continues and the bedroom has some floor space. I have a storage thing that should go to the CS but I am tempted to put it outside my front door with a please take me label…

I won £50 on the PBs. Yay. Really pleased as I have a low holding. The £50 has gone to 2 new PBs. I now have £1,400 in EF savings. I also found 3/4s of a bar of nice chocolate in the fridge when I cleaned it out
A wet, cold, grey day here. Please be Spring soon…

Yaas to PB win 🥂
And unexpected chocolate!
Absolutely put the storage thing outside with a note (when it's not raining 😁), as you know that's what we do in my manor and it's lovely knowing random unknown members of the community are making use of bits
Hope you're less sore soon, take it easy if you need to, you're doing yourself no favours soldiering on with tasks that will still be there in a couple of days, nag, nag x

Thanks @Skint_yet_Again I decided to do the rooms one by one instead to save my back!
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds the storage thingy was put outside of my house with a 'please take me' label. It was gone within an hour. It was awkward and heavy and I would have needed to call favours in to get it to the cs. Really pleased! Will do that again.
Thanks @beanielou I would like it to get to 1500 by the end of the month
Cold grey rain here. It was the same all night. Yuk.
The seagulls are getting noisy again in the mornings so I know Spring isn't far away. They gather together on the beach for a group meeting then disperse across the town.
Yesterday I definitely spent too much. There was a glimmer of sun and it was dry. It went to my head! We have a fishmongers and I bought some clams and some salmon. They had honey and beeswax candles so I bought a beeswax candle. Then I treated myself to a ticket (I have membership so I 'saved' £5) to see Hamnet today as I loved the book. The cinema is cold so I will take a flask of camomile tea with honey 😊
I made biscuits yesterday to a Cranks recipe millet and peanut cookies. They burnt but I now know I can use less sugar next time. I salvaged a few. Kitchen is a bomb site again so I will tackle that next
I have a legal frog that I will tackle this morning
My knee joints are very swollen and sore. Other joints not behaving very nicely either. Cold damp weather not helping. Wrapping up in electric throw at every opportunity but not for too long as have to keep moving joints
I still have soup so will have that at some point. It will be whatever I find in the fridge that is easy later on
Have a good day all

Well done on the PB win!
"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Yay to the chunky item being rehomed 😊
This damp is so constantly damp isn't it! Take care of those joints. I walked in the door from invigilating and immediately just lay flat on the hallway carpet. Thinking 'this can't be hygienic but I am not moving'
I think some grub, a wee nice candle, and a bit of culcha can be forgiven, looking at my weather forecast we're not getting another sunny day for the next fortnight at least, so I expect you can make the budget work without any more sunny temptation 😁
