I’m glad you managed to make yourself go out dia and that you felt better for it. I’m going to follow your example today as the sun is shining here. I agree with others that anything that brings you joy is worth it. Will be interested to see how you get on with the reduced food budget.

The painting sounds great, and if you can 'earn' it through selling stuff, lower grocery spends and NSDs, then that will be doubly satisfying.
"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Thanks @WelshmansDaughter I'll take a look
Thanks @MillQueen @Sun_Addict
Thanks @Tresinia511 and @beanielou the painting is definitely food for the soul!
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I agree. I will be treating this as a satisfying challenge. And any exercise where you are stretching is helpful. You are very consistent, unlike me, and that will pay off.
Thanks @LzzyIsGod there is indeed great joy in beautiful things
Thanks @Skint_yet_Again I hope you got out in the sunshine. I will be posting about the £25 a week food budget
Thanks @jwil my plan is to 'earn' the painting through selling, NSDs and lower grocery bills despite March being an expensive month!
Ok, so the plan is to sell something IRL on Tuesday. I will put some on the money towards paying off the painting. I will keep £25 for the weekly food budget. Tomorrow will be a NSD. I have an expensive medical appointment already accounted for.
I found a bag of ancient wild black rice. I have cooked it. It is quite nice actually. Lots of random cupboard items will appear in March 😂
I need to keep busy this week and not let low spirts take over
a walk
hoover house
FROGS
take pics of 12 items to sell
register for Minted

PIP, whilst teeth brushing, try standing on one leg aiming for a count of 20, then the other leg for a count of 20. It's like "balance" health insurance! DH was recently asked by an audiologist to stand on one leg, for a measly 5 seconds, so passed with steady colours. If 20 is easy, try it with your eyes closed - be prepared to wobble!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2 -
Haha @satchmo1 I do try to do that (not with eyes closed, that would be cruising for a bruising!)- I try not to take the findings to heart what with having a chronic pain condition that causes joint pain and clumsiness 😂
That is a most excellent plan DIA, obviously do as you see fit but I would recommend just bowling out of bed without anything else being tended to and going for a short walk round the block, that way the 'walk' bit has been done/started, and everything seems more achievable after a wee walk in my experience

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I'm not sure about the 'bowling' out of bed, but the first thing without thought is the way forwards for sure 😊
Yesterday I saw a health professional privately. Their name came up when I first moved here and then last week someone else praised them. They were excellent and will now feature in the team DIA care team. I need to see them once every six weeks. I need to budget in for the cost.
I had a good walk.
I got rid of a large bag of stuff from the garden.
I had a NSD and it made me see how much I am used to spending on not very much. I would have paid for a bus one way and had a coffee. That's £6. No doubt I would have picked up a sweet treat somewhere too £4? So a tenner not spent
Ive another flipping health issue that affects balance due to the room spinning! and produces nausea when my head is in the wrong position. A bit like being seasick. It comes and goes…So, yesterday I took it easy. Today it seems better so far…
I didn't want to stand to cook yesterday so I ate up random bits and pieces from the fridge with an egg! Today will make a big pan of soup this morning. This afternoon I have a massage at the college. I can also use their steam room so that will be nice. Actually as I type I am realising my head downwards on the massage table will not work so I will call and cancel.
I will instead find the items for selling and take pics
I will be going to sell the IRL item today
I will be having a walk in the small park I made such a fuss about living within 5 minutes walk from despite barely using it!
So, a MSE day but not NSD as it is dry (for now) and I intend to take my unread weekend paper down to the cafe on the seafront to read

Today's appointment cancelled
Walked around my area (still not to the park…)
Five items found and photographed
I sold the IRL item. I am saving most of it as a pay down on the painting. I kept back £25 for food budget
Spent: halloumi, pickles and water =6.30 Remaining 18.70
Tonight soup made at lunchtime with halloumi and beetroot and humus (home made) with pickles. Yum
There is sunshine here so clothes are outside! The excitement!
Coffee by the sea 😁
Hope you have some sunshine too
