Sounds like a good day by the sea in the sunshine. The park can wait for warmer weather. I occasionally suffer from BPPV so I understand that feeling of seasickness/ nausea only too well 🤢hope you feel better x

Hope the dizziness has eased off now. Coffee by the sea sounds lovely! Well done on the sale as well :)

Thanks @Sun_Addict it really is good news about the health professional. I think they may be key in helping keep me mobile and in less pain 😊
Yes @Skint_yet_Again yes, it is BPPV but it isn't affecting me now so fingers crossed it has gone again for now 😊
Thanks @jwil the sale was easier than tackling Vinted as that is still a block for me somehow
Yesterday I did well on my food budget, spending nothing so I still have 18.70 and don't plan on spending anything today as today is a NSD. I made some mini turkey burgers and some humus yesterday and have some left over. I've got soup too. That should do
I ended up spending 8.50 treating a friend to coffees. I feel mean, but I'm not doing this again, not, not ever, just not this Feb/March. I'm not taking my purse when we next walk.
I chased up a tradesperson to come and look at my little yard garden. Water doesn't drain away well. The damp is climbing the outside walls. I'd like those drain grills out there to help. I saw a Swedish store outdoor cabinet that I am thinking about to go out there. I have some old tools I'm tempted to leave outside with please take stickers on.
Choir later and this time I will be going. My mood clearly better than last week as I didn't want to leave the house at all last week.
Nearly another week over

Hope you have a lovely time at choir, glad you're feeling more up for doing things.
Very nice if you to treat your friend but yeah £8.50 is a chunk when you're trying to save. As you say, best to just leave the purse at home!
If you won't use the tools definitely stick them outside with a note, no point having unnecessary clutter, especially when you're aiming to sort garden.
Is there anything we can help you with to overcome your minted block? Have you set up your account?

I say … buy more halloumi 😀
Firstly 'cos it's gorgeous and elevates any meal.
But secondly proper (PDO) halloumi can only come from Cyprus. And Cyprus is currently in the grip of a Foot and Mouth epidemic which will see tens of thousands of animals slaughtered as a preventative measure. The government says halloumi production will be protected but it's hard to see how that is realistic.
So, stock up while you can?

Thanks for halloumi heads up @Mands
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds choir was great. As regards Minted I don't have an account set up yet and I need to think through the barriers as this is ridiculous!
I have £5 of my food budget left to last the weekend. I would like to buy a nice chicken but £5 will not buy a decent one so I will have it next week. All I have left in the freezer is a bag of smoked fish. So, this weekend I will be making giant fish fingers. I have a few tins of beans so I will also make a bean chilli. It hasn't been hard to make the £25 budget work but that is because there was stuff already in. Next week will be trickier and I will need to get up early to try for Mr L boxes to make it work
Although the food budget has been good, I have been spendy on other things…
another treat for a friend, this time a breakfast to mark a date
a preloved dress
a preloved top
A friend has a special birthday tomorrow and I have been invited to her birthday meal. I already have a decent bottle of wine to take. I have a card. I will buy some nice chocolate and take some flowers.
There is a table top sale tomorrow. It is a special organisation so there will be nice things.
I will be paying over the money from the sale on Tuesday to the artist. I should be able to finish paying at the end of the month.
Good things?
I am not in pain and despite the grey damp weather my mood is fine
Happy Saturday everyone

Lol dia I have a bag of white unsmoked fish in my freezer and was just going to bung it in the slow cooker with carrots & butternut squash & leftover carrots in milk with dried parsley served with buttered cabbage. Would be interested to know how you make your fish fingers. Have a lovely weekend
