Thanks @Sun_Addict I hope work IT becomes less stressful. Yes, the guests are easy. I am also much more relaxed which helps.

Thanks @Skint_yet_Again I am with you! I was forced into BB by a young relative who convinced me it was essential. Also a very young relative would have been unhappy staying without it...
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds I know I should complaint but so stressed by it all I am taking a day out of it and will resume tomorrow!

I finally cleaned the bathroom and it looks great. I convinced myself I needed a new unit in there. I don't. I just needed a good declutter. I had a sort of shelving thing I was going to get rid of but I repurposed it to a cupboard and now that cupboard works so much better. The cupboard was decluttered and reorganised too. 

I have a chair I don't like. I took a pic and will donate to the furniture store I use quite a lot. It is a charity and they help especially with low income families.

I have got a plasterer coming this afternoon to quote for a crack in the awning/overhang over the front door. Water is dripping from it when it rains and it appears to have grown...

This morning I am staying local with bits and pieces to pick up. I also want to fit in a walk to a local garden I love but rarely make time for, as it is dry this morning

An easy meal for guests as I picked up a gorgeous lasagna at marksies after Christmas. It was 2 and reduced from 10, so a real bargain. I will serve with buttered sprouts left over from the 10p veg!

Off to change the curtains in whichever room these warm curtains will fit!

The plasterer said it isn't an issue. It just needs caulking then painting. So, reading what @redo is doing I am tempted to have a go on a nice summer's day. (summer will come again?)  I want to paint my doorsteps at the front and back too.

I bought some flowers, some reduced tulips and a bunch of daffs  Makes up for not managing to visit the garden 

Only 2 more days to go before I have a boosted EF and my home back to myself 

Cold here today...warm curtains did not fit the window I wanted, so trying another window...

It's lovely isn't it when a repair become easier than you think! Am a big fan of caulk as just done gap filling round my kitchen windows - when the replacement windows were put in way before I was here, I discovered there were gaps hidden by the plastic coving when I removed some kitchen tiles. I couldn't believe I could see through to the outside and that wouldn't have helped my chilly kitchen. DP and I levered off the coving round the other window last week and have done that, best part of 3 tubes of caulk!!! Added bonus road noise is less now too.

Thought of you yesterday @doingitanyway as I picked up the 7kg sack of spuds using the monthly freebie veg voucher at my / our supermarket of choice - I'd always got something else until you mentioned the big bag of spuds, total no-brainer! I only just finished the early Dec bag as had them covered outside which seems to keep them OK.
