    It's lovely isn't it when a repair become easier than you think! Am a big fan of caulk as just done gap filling round my kitchen windows - when the replacement windows were put in way before I was here, I discovered there were gaps hidden by the plastic coving when I removed some kitchen tiles. I couldn't believe I could see through to the outside and that wouldn't have helped my chilly kitchen. DP and I levered off the coving round the other window last week and have done that, best part of 3 tubes of caulk!!! Added bonus road noise is less now too.

    Thought of you yesterday @doingitanyway as I picked up the 7kg sack of spuds using the monthly freebie veg voucher at my / our supermarket of choice - I'd always got something else until you mentioned the big bag of spuds, total no-brainer! I only just finished the early Dec bag as had them covered outside which seems to keep them OK.
    July 2024 £12,150  Dec 2025 B/Card £5,980, V/card £2,760, H'fax £763, IFC £284, Sports Trip £140, Very £66 Total £9,993. It's a slow slog in the right direction.
