Thank you. After all that the neighbour seemed nice! As for the cheese it soooo good! I had a Comte that had been aged for 24 months. It was delicious, but he had one that had been aged for 48 months tooPennysIntoPounds said:Brilliant work approaching the neighbour, well done you 👏

Well done for not giving in to the relative. I can’t believe they seem to think you’re loaded and willing to give them money left right and centre 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Dia I think the cheese was a deserved reward for all your efforts. I also think that cheese would serve well as an encouraging nerve bracing agent when preparing for difficult efforts. Cheese either way sounds like win win to me😀3

Thank you @Sun_Addict

Back on here to rid myself of the annoyance of my washing machine vibrating badly. It is actually moving! It is under warranty so I will contact the shop where I bought it. It sounds like a plane taking off. There is always something to deal with. I bought a very good washing machine in the hope it would be stress free. GrrrrhIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Dia, it might need the little feet balancing . They are usually wind up/ down feet to get it balanced and a little tool comes with it to do just that2

Did someone mention cheese?
and now I have good cheese envy! The short break plan sounds like an excellent idea. Thank you both. @Tresinia511 there are no little feet. My one in my other home had little feet that went up and down. Anyway I went back to the shop I bought it from. I now have little rubber shock absorbers on each corner and it isn't moving and is quieter. I paid a few pounds for the rubber things but the shop owner came and moved the machine to fit them on.beanielou said:Boo to the washing machine.
Thank you. The cheese is very good. I now have a stainless steel box in the fridge with assorted waxed paper cheeses. The box makes me happy. Like you my adventures are mostly overnight or day trips and the thought makes me smile almost as much as the cheese boxredofromstart said:Did someone mention cheese?
