@doingitanyway I got my MP involved when last used Bee Tee. They ended up paying me more in compensation than they claimed I owed them. That invented debt was also written off. Just saying. Love Humdinger xx3

My business uses Bee Tee and I "upgraded" to internet phone sometime ago. the service was appalling, we lost phone lines for over a week, had 2 engineers and then luckily I found a phone number for a local engineer who popped in during his lunch break and helped. Eventually said service was got working but they had made me purchase a lot of equipment unnecessarily - and then I discovered the power of the word Mis-sold Compensation wiped out two months billing - but - the blighters had the nerve to charge me for equipment I had returned because they said they had never had it. Yet more phone calls and emails and charge was eventually dropped.
Just saying ...hang in there...complain...don't give up but my goodness they are *******Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
Thanks @beanielou @Humdinger1 @Watty1 for the encouragement. I still haven't done it. So stressed about it...I will need to break it down into bitesized tasks...

I've had a few days of bleugh...I saw my reflection today and thought I looked awful.
I was meant to start QiGong yesterday but overslept. I am going to a class tomorrow, instead with the same teacher, just to try it out. If I like it I will start going next week on Tuesday mornings
I forced myself up and out of the house today for a short walk. A few groceries. The CSs, but I did not buy anything.
I was determined not to use my CC again despite running out of money. I had a small buffer amount so I transferred from that. Yay me for putting that away.
The weather is awful. Only good thing is it rained last night and the broken gutter next door held fast
I have a frog list as long as my arm. I will be back later to list some of them

Well done for having that buffer in place that's great progress.
I've been pausing my veg boxes since November with a view to cancelling them completely. I like the idea of them but they're very expensive for what they are.
I've got a few frogs building up that I keep putting off. If I knuckled down I could get them done in an hour at the most I bet. I get cross with myself as it's such a good feeling when I've tacked them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Just a couple of tips for making GF pastry, which you might already be aware of. I've been making it for DD for over 50 years & it's a lot easier now than it was when I started, when she was diagnosed as coeliac at 12 months old.joeyjimbles said:Oh I'm sorry for not realising about the Gluten Free - DS1's partner is coeliac so I am used to checking. Unfortunately I have not yet succeeded in making decent GF pastry but I can recommend the Jus-Rol one - and it is very often YS in both my local supermarkets.
Dove's Farm SR is the best.
If making sweet pastry, replace 1 tablespoon of flour with icing sugar.
Add a beaten egg.
After mixing, put in fridge for 30 mins.

Qi Gong is what we would call Tai Chi…..apparently learning Tai Chi takes a very long time, but classes are often called Tai Chi, when what they’re actually teaching is Qi Gong4

Thanks @Sun_Addict the veg box I have is great when it is spring summer autumn but in the depths of winter it definitely sin't worth it...too many heavy root veggies that are inexpensive anyway...
I so agree re the frogs I just can't seem to get going with them
Thanks @kayannie for cookery tips
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds and @Skint_yet_Again for the kind comments
Thanks @liselle QiGong is definitely shorter sequences so easier to learn.
I had lunch with friends today. I then booked a spa treat at the training college (a salt scrub plus steam room and a facial). They train personal trainers there so I went to see if the gym was open to the public as it is quite extensive. It isn't. But, got talking to the manager who is looking for clients for the personal trainers. So I will be having a personal trainer next month, twice a week for 6-8 weeks. They will devise a programme for me and put me through my paces. And in MSE news, it will be free! I'm so thankful to have this on my doorstep. Some frugal luxury!
I walked today and my joints felt fine. I wish that was the case all the time!
Energy bill landed and biggest I have ever had. Luckily I had a credit but I will be cutting down on the CH. I've been using the oven lots more and will switch to the AF and SC. I also had the water bill. I've decided not to think about NF until the summer when the TVL will be paid off and payments will halve leaving room for the NF subscription
I received my trainers that were not right, so sent back today for a refund
A good day. Tomorrow I will be ready to deal with some frogs...
I hope you have had a good enough day

That’s brilliant about the personal trainer, they’re quite pricey normally. That amount of time will be plenty to pick up some tips and techniques.,I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
