Wow, free personal trainer for 6-8 weeks, what a result. Do make sure you're not shy about stating your limitations and needs and getting them to work around your aims though, so easy to people-please and suffer later!
All else sounding great too, well done on a fab decision-making and feeling decent day 🥂
Don't forget about our Winter Wonders OATs thread if it might help motivate with those frogs 😊
I have to look at paint tomorrow. I am not looking forward to looking at paint tomorrow.

Thanks @Sun_Addict and @PennysIntoPounds I will be boring the trainer with all my body limitations and what I want to achieve regardless. No people-pleasing for me
Your OAT thread is great. I lurk there, but I wouldn't keep up posting, so will continue to lurk and marvel
So, I faced the scales this morning. I have 7.5 pounds to lose to get down to the next stone. I will concentrate on that as my joints do not want an extra load. Besides, I look better slimmer...haha Everything including my weight has been on free-fall since I came back.
I picked up some nice chicken and threw it in the slow cooker with herbs and spices and a few potatoes and onions. I made a coleslaw and a salad. I will make a tahini sauce instead of mayo.
I'm waiting for a delivery RM keep saying they couldn't deliver despite me being here and watching the email change from 'expecting' to 'couldn't deliver...' hoping it arrives today... they ask for feedback so this time I will give it...
Back later to report on any froggy successes

What a great result with the personal trainer!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Thank youjwil said:What a great result with the personal trainer!I had a library FROG now eaten, as I lost my card plus I owed a fine. I have now paid and have a new card. The library card will be the way I read new books now (mostly). My new plan for no fines is simple, visit the library weekly, read a book a week and take out one book at time. If I am away take the book back to the library read or unread as I can always take it out again. Let’s see if that works
I ordered a book on cleaning/organising systems as I feel the house often runs away from me and looks messy. I have a mad blitz when people are coming to stay, but there must be a less stressful way. I can’t afford a cleaner, so it is down to me to get on top of this.
I paid for a book shelf. It is a tall one and perfect for a wall that faces the street. It will also act to deaden sound outside that comes through that wall. Once I have that bookshelf I will treat it as a container because that is what it is! I will no longer have books that won’t fit into one of the four bookshelves.
Spending I didn’t do because I was being MSE mindful..
- Bus fare (walked there and back)
- Coffee (made a pot of smoky tea as a treat when I came home)
- Chocolate (ate 2 dates instead)
- Wine
Would have been £18! Amazed how it adds up…
Off to tackle the kitchen and get a head start on ‘putting it to bed’

My tip for library use is, if there's a series you might be interested in reading all of, ask the librarian to 'renew' their presence, as I once started reading a series and went to get the next one and was told they hadn't been taken out for too long so they'd been removed, but the two I had read were still there what with having been taken out- which was no use to me as I was the one who'd just taken them out and read them!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

Thanks @liselle @beanielou @PennysIntoPounds
Good to see so many of us love to use libraries...
So, I put the timer on for a 15 minute cleaning burst.
Once I got going, spent 2.5 hours cleaning the kitchen, prepping food and cleaning out the fridge.
Meal plan done for the next few days using what I have.
All very good in one way, but I can't help thinking there are better things to do with 2.5 hours
I hope you are getting ready to go out for cocktails or anything more glam than cleaning your kitchen...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
