jbryce said:I only use Chase in places where my Amex cashback isn't accepted. That mostly means Greggs and Home Bargains. Greggs definitely won't count in future, Home Bargains I don't think will count as grocery even though that is what I buy there.
So unless anyone has any better suggestions, I will go back to using my Barclaycard Rewards, and Chase will be going in my overseas wallet.1 -

Just very annoying as going Abroad was the main reason I got the card, as that got a good amount of cashback over the 2 weeks. Any suggestions on a new card to use abroad?0 -

Note, if you want to compare historical Visa and Mastercard rates, you need to compare the Visa rate with the Mastercard rate from the day before. Visa reports its rates daily at midnight UK time, Mastercard reports them at 3pm New York Time which is usually 8pm UK time, though they move their clocks forward and back on different dates to us.2 -
Anyone happen to know if Costco spend will activate Chase cashback under the new rules? Ditto Costco fuel spend?
Seem to remember from somewhere that Costco might be classed as a "Club" rather than a food retailer.1 -

I've just checked with them. M&S Food qualifies for cash back.0

I wonder how that will work? Last time I bought M&S underwear I paid for it along with some more edible consumables at the food checkout. So what Merchant Category Code (MCC) would be presented?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. I've got a Simply Food store near me. I asked them to check a recent transaction.0

From in app chat: "I can see that this is with Marks & Spencer. The merchant falls under Grocery Stores and Supermarkets. This merchant is qualified for cashbacks".
