which bank do debit card deposit to saving?
Every bank I come across is with bank transfer with sort code and bank account.
    I do Premium Bonds.

When I have no more credit cards to pay off, I buy £500 of bonds. I can do this 3 times as I have 3 Reward accounts.  If need be, can withdraw again from Premium Bonds but takes a few working days but I don’t normally need to withdraw.

oh and Chip. It can do Apple Pay if you got qn iPhone

Not used Skipton but that’s a good shout

I suppose the main bummer with this means pub spends are no longer eligible. Still will get cashback from Aldi / Lidl / B&m etc still, so will still use for that. Like others, the main supermarkets I can get 5% discount via corporate gift vouchers

I’m going to guess ‘no’.  What type of purchase does it show as in your transactions list the last time you shopped there? If you compare to a supermarket purchase, it will give a clue.

I suspect it won’t qualify as those shops are predominently not food shops.  Classed as Discount stores or something like Poundland

But you can reclassify the purchase type to groceries. I wonder if this is a work around.

I just reclassified it as groceries & will let you know if it works - thanks so much for the idea @ZeroSum

That's pretty poor. I don't buy petrol (have an EV!), don't buy groceries on the card (use a employee reloadable gift card) and only spend about £60 on trains a month.
It has been useful to get decent cashback on my child's dental work which was many thousands, but obviously that won't be happening. But annoying that any big purchases won't qualify.
Probably time to drop Chase, the savings account is rubbish now

Good thought, but I doubt it. They already have a list of MCCs which do not attract cashback in the existing scheme. I'd imagine they'll swap that blacklist for a whitelist of a dozen or so allowed MCCs.

    Time will tell.

EV charging is also covered if I'm not mistaken.

Annoying as it is, it should still pay for me £3.50 a month (from Diesel, and Food), still a very good APR on the minimum amount I keep in there now.

Just very annoying as going Abroad was the main reason I got the card, as that got a good amount of cashback over the 2 weeks. Any suggestions on a new card to use abroad?

After being a customer from day 1, I am out.  The offers and cashback have been steadily eroded and the extra hoops to jump through have been annoying.  I don't expect they will miss me as a customer.

I only use Chase in places where my Amex cashback isn't accepted. That mostly means Greggs and Home Bargains. Greggs definitely won't count in future, Home Bargains I don't think will count as grocery even though that is what I buy there.

So unless anyone has any better suggestions, I will go back to using my Barclaycard Rewards, and Chase will be going in my overseas wallet.
