Well done on nearly joining the mortgage free club @ldee2111! I'm so glad we are members, as otherwise my wages wouldn't cover all our bills...
Great advice @f0xh0les, might use some of it myself 😉

Awoke to the sound of DS3 being sick. Thankfully it was just the once, but hoping now that it doesn't spread through the house, especially with DH being immunosuppressed.
Didn't do exercises, but did chop lots of veg & stir-fry them with some peanuts added, & rice on the side, for my next 3 day dinners.
A good day at work. Read a bit if my book afterwards, then started on the sewing. A man came round & was pinned into 4 pairs of trousers. Good job he's not needing them in a hurry! Got 4 hobs done tonight, so made a small dent in the pile.
Knitted a gonk's nose & watched TV.
Grateful for a good day at work, getting little bits achieved at home, a warm fireUse it up, wear it out

Staying on NSD 3 because I ordered some of DS’s school uniform for the new school year. I know it’s a while away but I wanted to get the ‘skinny stuff’ before it goes out of stock, otherwise DS might take flight on a windy day!
The dry, bright day allowed me to happily walk to Mum’s for lunch. We’re still trying to deal with the extreme damage to her garden caused by storm Eowyn… after eating lunch, we took a trip to the local dump with some more broken wall bricks .
Her insurers declined her claim for damage so we’re now having to go down the Financial Ombudsman route. More stress for Mum… but as a wise fish once said: ‘just keep swimming’. And that is what we will do.
Today I felt a lot of gratitude for being able to Wfh, for having more time to wake up and get ready in the morning, for having the comfort of my own surroundings, but more than anything, for having more time with my family. I feel very very grateful for this.

Today I am grateful for fitting in an early gym sesh to keep myself sane, for Pip going to school partway through the day, for getting stuff cut out, for the hyacinths showing off, for easy food for tea.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!10

Keep waking up in the night, seems to be twice a night at the moment 😓 msybe my to of life...
Forced myself to do some exercises before the rest of my getting ready for work routine. Pleased I'd done it afterwards & even more pleased that I didn't have to make my packed lunch, as did it yesterday.
A good day at work. Stopped for diesel on the way home, but didn't need as much as normal. My full tank usually lasts @1month. May even do a bit longer next month when it's the holidays 😊
Entered lots of competitions online via the forum, then after tea, did 2 sewing jobs, before a long soak in the bath.
Grateful for a good day, more sewing done, grateful customersUse it up, wear it out

Had the house to myself. Bagged up rubbish etc, boxed up 2 boxes with books and toys which freed up multiple trays and small spaces, I have a largish strip of clear floor, of which half is thoroughly clean. I have 3 pizza box stepping stones in the kitchen but mostly avoided going in there. One load of washing done but still in the machine. Not wearing shoes gave my bites a chance to calm down and very late on I put my shoes on and took the bins out for collection (DS3 had done one already).
Tired but happy. Found my phone, purse and pinsentry machine so was able to send more money to Mr and Mrs Builder (I'd asked last week if they needed more and they were okay then but I had 4 people in my kitchen at weekend and other workmen need to be paid - also the paneling I want for all the kitchen is quite expensive) and make 3 charitable donations, one of which was DS1's birthday present. I have 11 books packed ready to go back to the library,1 left to read and 1 missing.
Mr Builder is back on Saturday (the extra paneling needs to be ordered and I think he needs someone to help handle it) and I really need this pause (we're nearly there but I'm struggling with a near permanent exhaustion). I'd like to run away to DS1's but I feel there's too much to do and not sure if I could cope better there. If I find my birth certificate (DS3 is trying once again to get a passport because his main distributor won't pay him without it) and tick another couple of the tasks off I may go. Actually the thought of making sure I pack everything I need to take.
Positive head back on (and I'll take some pills so my brain isn't wasting energy blocking that) more shuffling things into boxes and empty kitchen cupboards, rest so I can walk again and clear out as much paperwork as possible.
Grateful for easy food, some progress, space to breathe.10 -
Clean the fridge freezer and their freezer (which seems to be full despite repeated requests) Sigh8

Today is my 3rd day of not spending any money this week. I feel totally pooped. We have had some very strange hailstone weather in this part of the country today. At one point I was concerned we would be getting snow! It’s making me want to hibernate. I have been so busy at work I also haven’t had my midweek run. I feel all out of sorts. It does mean that I am up to 8 nsds for this month.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #829

Staying on NSD 3 after visiting our friend Gregg for lunch. We needed something quick after leaving the dentist and having to get DS back to school.
Grateful today for more blue skies and sunshine (meaning I had no excuses to not go for a walk), for a sale on V!ntD meaning one less bit of clutter, and for good TV series.

Good evening 🌔
Congratulations idee211 on your smashing that mortgage. That will be my next very large mountain to climb! You prompted me to look at my mortgage calculator to see how much I'd need to increase it to clear by retirement age! As I was late on the mortgage ladder i'm down to clear at age 70-something lol. Still - it's good to have a goal to strive for again 😐😒😂
f0xh0les - love how you transformed grandmanerd into a pirate! Please can I request a pirate theme for next month now har harrrrr 🦜🏴☠️🌊
First day back at work went really well. Was actually really nice to be back.
Today I am grateful for:
1) The support of my work colleagues
2) Cashback
3) My new routine getting me up at 06:00 without feeling like death warmed up lol
Today = NSD number 3

I'm tired again today too! Very cold way up north, saw hailstones & others have told me they saw snowflakes...
Forced myself to exercise, but did a shorter routine. Even though it was 7 mins shorter, it was 1K less in steps, so will likely go back to doing the longer one tomorrow.
Work went fine for me, though a little stressed at useless member of staff, who's doing the opposite of my routine, not sticking to the rules when she has the pupils. Have passed it on.
Wrapped up & went for a cold stomp around the block. Saw 2 make pheasants & a couple of rabbits. Was glad that DH had lit the fire on my return.
A late tea, then started sewing. Didn't quite get the job finished, thread kept snapping & I'm feeling very tired, so will finish it tomorrow.
Grateful for a warm fire, DS3 telling me all about his day back on site, my morning pupil being an angel when with meUse it up, wear it out
