Hope you feel better after another sleep @laura_lau & you have a lovely time away.
Great news on your fitness assessment @abundant1972 🎉
NSD#3
Exercises & Du0lingo done before breakfast. Was needing lots of patience at work this morning, but the afternoon went well. Stopped to pin a lady into a riding jacket on my way home.
Did the ironing before tea, then after I knitted, accompanied by chocolate, crisps & a beverage in a pint glass (but 9/10ths lemonade).
Grateful for it being the weekend, my Friday night routine, watching my favourite programmeUse it up, wear it out

A quiet day here. No workmen but I was able to hobble about and do some bits. Today and tomorrow I will have multiple workers, starting with one at 8 am. Would have loved to escape to DS1's but not sure if I could even get in to a taxi.
Grateful for lovely food, deliveries, restarting my embroidery (can't see what I'm doing and my hands were shaking violently)10 -
Hello everyone. Wow this week has been so busy. Work has been long and stressful which has meant that I haven’t been able to post on here. It’s also meant that I haven’t spent any money since last Sunday so racking up 5 nsds straight away. Every cloud. It makes me feel a little out of control when work is busy though as my home life takes the hit. I’m now spending my Saturday catching up on house work and washing. It needs to be done. I’m just having a quick cup of tea in the garden listening to the birds and then I’ll get back to it. Hoping to put washing out on the line and it dries.Hope everyone has had a more restful week than me.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #828

Congratulations on the working 🚽 and 🧼 grandmanerd (there is no sink emoji haha)
Have had a few low energy days, so have been taking it easy. That said I managed to go out and still spend on both Monday and Tuesday 🤨 Today I hit my first NSD 🎯
I am trying to rewire my brain for abundance instead of the scarcity mindset I think I've had whilst in debt for so long. I realise I feel incredibly guilty spending any money on myself. I have watched a few videos on YT and read a few blogs and apparently it is quite common after being in debt. I think the long and short of if it is - balance in all things. As long as I have covered my expenses and put aside some for future expenses (could be an emergency fund, or getting a month ahead etc) then it is ok to spend. Obviously whilst I was in debt I needed to cover those expenses too. However - we are here to live life too - and not hoard until we are too old and frail to enjoy it - like my Dad has done, bless him. So I am working on embracing an abundance mindset - you'd think it would come naturally given I call myself 'Abundant' haha. The irony 😅 Answers on a postcard please...
Today I am grateful for:
1) A day of reflection
2) Food in my cupboards, fridge and freezer
3) The love and support of friends and family
Today = NSD number 1 <gets out party poppers> 🥳
Have a lovely evening folks xMortgage free wannabee 2022 #827 -

I've had a wonderful day! Though raining lots first thing, me & DS1 went to town. After pinning the lady, we picked up mum & did a trawl round the charity shops. DS had been reminiscing about going there as a child, so I said we'd do it again. We looked in 4 out of the 7, & I spent the grand total of £6.20. Then we went food shopping & he bumped into.his friend, so hung around with him for half an hour.
After dinner, it'd dried up outside, so I spent a happy couple of hours weeding a border & listening to Bob Harris on catch up. Sat knitting & watching s film after tea. The gonk's body is now finished 😊
Grateful for making memories, time in the garden, oh & finishing my book!Use it up, wear it out

Good afternoon 🌞
Lovely day here in the North West. Me a friend for a quick shop and we nabbed a free coffee too! Used some vouchers so got some dosh off things. Yesterday was a family day. We had a lovely day, and I was treated out to coffee and a cake 😋
I spent yesterday as purchased a gift card for myself as realise I get 4% cash back via my app - and can get for all major supermarkets which is pretty good. I don't know if I can put names of apps down or if that is breaking the MSE law?
@dizzyblnd - an abundance mindset for me is believing:
🤑 that wealth is not just for the rich - there is enough for everyone if we are open to receiving
🤑 new opportunities and possibilities are available to us all if we ask for them and stay mindful to them
🤑 wealth / feeling rich can be monetary, but also taking pleasure in life generally and experiencing its 'richness' too
🤑 being grateful and appreciating everything we have helps create a sense of abundance and wellbeing
🤑 a positive outlook will manifest positive results
Today I am grateful for:
1) Lots of laughs with my friend
2) A sunny day
3) My family and friends
Yesterday and today = spend days
Today = NSD number 2 still
Have a lovely evening 💚⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐
