I re-activated mine about 2 weeks ago but phoned this afternoon to check it had been changed over to 'free'. Although my account had been altered there was still the charge for the current period which was charged in advance on my last bill. it took a few minutes to convince the operator that this should be credited back to me. Worth checking to make sure that you are not paying for the service for the current period.

So your line rental is with BT, but your calls are cps to Sky. All you have to do is to put the Bt overide 1280 code in front of the number you are calling, this will send the call via Bt.PF.0 -
We have caller display through an offer we got when we bought our phone - free for 3 months. We found it useful (now we know exactly who we're ignoring!) so kept it on. Thanks to this thread, I contacted BT to enable us to get it for free. I don't know if this has been raised before in this topic, but the thing is, BT don't automatically transfer those already paying for caller display onto the free version - so the moral of the story is that you MUST contact BT about changing it over to the free version - don't just assume that it will be done automatically.0
