    Any numbers.
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

Nicholas - did you get an answer to this? I am also on monthly billing and have two lines at home. I usually use 18866/1899 for my calls so having registered for Privacy I'll now have to make a call on each line via BT in order to get caller display free. I just don't know whether I have to do this once a month (because of my monthly billing) or once a quarter.

Also, does anyone know if there's a minimum price the call has to be or will any single chargeable call do?

No. No one has yet answered this one. I suppose the easiest thing to do is set my Orchid dialler up with the 1280 override call weekday evenings only. I rarely make evening calls but a call through BT will only be 5.5p per call as opposed to 2p through 18866. Supposing I make say 10 calls a month that way that will only equate to 55p and the calls through 18866 would still have been 20p, meaning I will only lose out to the tune of 35p. 35p to save £1.75 is still a good deal in my opinion.:D

Rachie I phoned just after you posted and I am still hanging on the phone to India!

They insisted I had to pay for this service and I am still holding!!!

Why not do it online Firefly ? Very easy, very quick and no call centre to talk to.... (don't they close at 8pm ? You could be on hold until the morning ;))

    What?

It's an automated service - see HERE - you don't speak to anyone.

    Dial 0800 916 55 44.

I've got a current "package" that I need to cancel.

I've tried online and it gives me a "Follow-up Rating is not supported by automation" error message.

Cancel, wait a week and apply for the new package ?

For what it's worth, I had CD before, but could cancel it as part of the transaction to order privacy@home.

Just a thought - were you registered with BT for managing your account online with a username & password already, or just entering with phone and account numbers ?
