I think yesterday's path exertions were a bit too much. I've managed:- walk Wren between showers,- finish the touching up painting in the ensuite, - Window sill done, and I realised the painter and decorater had missed far more of the topcoat than I first thought, and it's not in areas I can easily deal with because of my vertigo. Belovéd is going to ask him to come back and finish it.- declutter seven of various categories, the problem area today being kitchenalia, I might try jugs or glass jars/vases, (Final score: 2 jugs, 1 jug repurposed, 5 large glass jars previously used as vases recycled- help put away the Christmas decorations, which are now all done but strewn about the dining room,- gather together a few bagfulls of ood food hoard in the attic and get them as far as the dining room,- probably work on the Declutter 2025 Plan so I can sit at my desk because physically that's as much as I can manage.Three down, three left to do. *sigh**Healing vibes* for Jazee's DGD3.Better is good enough.8

Oh dear Jazee hope she is OK x
Full on 8 hours at the paid stuff followed by 1.5 hours sorting laundry, cleaning the kitchen, and having a general tidy up. Tired now. I should do some yoga before bed.
DH has done the grocery shopping and hoovered through.
Is it nearly weekend yet?11 -
Ok so my day didn’t go according to plan. DS2 was school refusing, but we got there. Then DS1 was complaining about pain in his left knee (it’s been happening on and off for months). As he was really struggling I got him a drs appointment.Took him to the doctors and he now has a referral to physio. But it took an extra 2 hours out of my day (30 mins was my lunch break), but worked an additional hour to try and make up the time. So I’ve not been able to do as much house stuff as originally planned. 🙄

GWS vibes for your DGD3, Jazee, and (((Hugs))) to you and all in your family who need one xx. I hope she recovers quickly.
Well done, redo and HB.
I have developed a streaming cold and have snuggled under the blanket on the sofa for most of the afternoon and evening, by which time I had finished my list but not started sorting photos. Off to bed now.

Welcome to all newbies and get well vibes to all those ill/injured.
Another couple of days gone by quickly. Glad I got quite a bit of flying done on Sunday, as the last 2 days have been eaten up with 'activities'.
- rang splashback showroom as that is the last thing we need for the revamped kitchen. They are appointment only but made one for the afternoon, which was what I wanted.
- went to dancefit
- ran, well jogged, along the road after post-dance coffee to get some flowers as it was the birthday of a friend who lives near the splashback showroom. I wanted particular colours for her so ended up buying 4 bunches, but 3 were reduced so that wasn't bad.
- hastily arranged said flowers while eating lunch.
- went to showroom, bedazzled by all the different colours and patterns but we have chosen and ordered one; they will come and measure on Thursday. It's all so high tech now - we chose a 'fade' which will start off bright yellow at the bottom and will fade up to almost cream at the top. Seems we can choose the darkest and palest colours specifically from a colour chart, and choose whether e.g. we want the bottom 10% to be the darkest or any fraction....a graphic designer and a computer work it out!! Magic. Mr N said the cost was more than he'd hoped but less than he expected......
- went to M& S sale which is near the coffee shop we were meeting friend. I didn't get much, only reduced Christmas cards.
- had coffee with friend who loved the flowers.
- went to Mr Ald1 and did a fairly big shop, lots of yellow stickers so that's a good time to go.
Today was frosty but no snow.
- gym swim
- 1st day back at 'work' and I'm exhausted.
- rang care home to see if they picked up the receipt for Mum's glasses before Christmas; I'd paid over the phone but can claim some back as Mum has health insurance. They didn't have it, so I rang the optician who are going to send it to me. All in all 3 phone calls which I'd been putting off.
- set up payment for cc.
In between, washing and dishwashing are fairly up to date.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
@Jazee - sending Flylady vibes from America for DGD3. Sending hugs for you also10

Jazee, lots of flylady vibes and hugs to you and your family for the little one. I hope things have improved overnight for her x
Yesterday I bit the Admin bullet and sorted quite a few bits. Once I had put the day over to it, it all became so much easier. I still have more to do, but I have set aside another day to do that next week. Nothing so urgent that it can’t wait until then.
Today’s plan is to change and wash the bedding, then clean the bedroom. This does, however, depend on DH vacating the bed. Or does it..😈 As he is in the throes of manflu, I guess that I will cut him some slack for a few minutes anyway. I also need to finalise a small Mr M delivery, as DH decided last night that he wasn’t going early to the f&v market this morning. I certainly don’t intending depriving him of that job now that I could. Also on my list is to get the sticky marks off the kitchen cupboards, which yesterday’s sun nicely highlighted for me. Kitchen splashback sounds fab, by the way, Narc0.
Just getting that second cuppa, plenty in the pot if anyone would like to help themselves.10 -
Morning all
‘White over’ as they say round here, as we’ve had a hard frost. I’ve only just woken up. Me and Bananarama had to unblock a plastic kitchen thing which was jammed with shredded carrots etc (aren’t dreams odd sometimes). I think I was dancing too, lol. I presume it was connected with the coleslaw I made for my tea, which included a black radish which I’d never heard of. Only the skin was black.
Work today. I suppose i’d better show up. just popped the heating back on then I can shower.
DW and WM and TD all deployed.
Hoping DGD is much better Jazee.
Got connections, 2 lives lost, wordle in 4 despite getting the first 3 letters, in order, from the start, and strands with no hints (did it before I read Narco’s post lol)
