@StickyTheStickInsect - good to hear that Long Covid has been ruled out. Hope they find the cause of the fatigue soon. In my case, it turned out to be a bleeding ulcer.
Thank you vulpix, Siebrie, and others for your inspiring words that keep us all going. Special thank you to Mrs. S_D.
Today is our trash day so I got several bags ready to go including from the roommate's room of doom (only one person can fit in there at a time so it is hard to get help). Another couple of bags from the kitchen and the bathroom, plus a bag from the living room where I cleaned up part of one corner (will take a couple more days). Problem is we were able to get the real trash out but the wind is so bad (30 miles per hour at last reading) that the recyclables are still waiting to go out. I was a ble to do the basics of feeding the cats, calling the roommate at the nursing home, getting rid of emails and answering some, eating, and, best of all coming on here. I ignored the spectacle on TV this morning.
Hope all of you stay safe and warm.

Hi all, I am awake at silly o'clock because I fell asleep on the couch and now am wide awake 🙄. Yesterday we travelled to visit a couple of friends, one because we hardly ever see her except twice a year for her birthday and at Christmas. Both occasions she usually hosts a party so we don't get a lot of chat catch up time with her. The other friend was to drop off her birthday present. With the drive etc we were out of the house for over 8 hours which was what I suspected would happen but OH thought it would be half that, so unrealistic 😂.
I took some unopened cheese to friend 1 from a mixed pack we were gifted at Christmas that neither of us would eat but I know she would like and the present for friend 2 was added to with 3 unopened bars of fancy soap that I have had lurking in a draw for a while from the french shop.
Apart from that in the past couple of days I have had a sort in the bathroom and by consolidating some stuff have decluttered 3 plastic bottles, the bedroom bin and kitchen recycling were emptied, another session of ironing, @Mrs SD the pile is so big I actually had a pair of shorts in there 😂 so a few more sessions needed yet but I know I can't face doing it all at once so I set the timer for 25 mins and finish the thing I was ironing when the buzzer goes. I put the ironed stuff away and go do something else. I figure if I can do this nearly every day it will be done eventually as the pile isn't increasing at the rate I am clearing it 😂.
I had one of those messages on my phone to say the storage was nearly full so had a major clean up of that, took hours but 145 photos gone, 32 documents and a whopping 1173 messages. I will count that as 12.
I also put a jumper on yesterday and much as I love it decided it was too short so it's in the cs bag. This was quite major for me as it was hand knitted by my dMum but I do have a couple of others she made me that are still doing sterling service 😁. I am reconciled, it has to go 😊.
I have caught up with all the posts but not much retained, brain is not working but
@Vulpix, no no no you CAN NOT leave 😁. As for a meet up in London depending on when, I would be interested. I am planning a trip south at some point to visit my sister and a friend near Brighton so could possibly include a trip to London. If you set a date let me know and I will try to fit in. There is also the possibility of a trip to Wembley for the footy which I could extend but that will be in February which is probably too soon and we're not there yet 😂😂.
We will have to organise one in our neck of the woods soon as well 😁.
@Squiffy and @Fastfashioncoststheearth welcome aboard, I am looking forward to following your journeys 😁
@mehefin sorry to hear about the horse, hoping for a swift recovery. Litter louts are just the pits aren't they ! Really no need for it but well done on dealing with it.
@weenancyinAmerica big hugs and well done on ignoring the t.v.today, more hugs
There was more I wanted to say but it's gone so I will get a cuppa and maybe get some more sleep 😂
Hugs to everyone who would like one

From Page 1“THE ELECTRIC POWERED DECLUTTERING TRAIN” aka EDT in service because we have worked so hard to make it a home away from home with separate Buffet & Dining Carriages; a Sleep Carriage with Japanese sleep pods; a Baggage Car & an Open Wagon Carriage (with netting to stop people falling off). The TLC Carriage is now many carriages (most with a constant supply of tea, coffee, alcoholic & soft drinks & snacks with the emphasis on cake & biscuits) as follows: the original TLC Carriage has Massage Chairs, sofas, tables & chairs with 24/7 waiter/waitress service; Hairdressing Salon including Manicures, Pedicures & Reflexology; a Spa with Massage Beds with on call masseurs/masseuses + a jacuzzi; a library with attached computer room; a cinema; a well stocked crafting room; The Padded Carriage incl. punch bags (for when RL is just too fraught 😉) & finally ‘The Quiet Carriage’ - NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ONLY BOOKS + Butler Service for Drinks & Nibbles (mostly cake).
Plus we upgraded the EDT to include a “Teleportation Device” & a new glass-domed 2 storey carriage (new restaurant on lower deck kitted out to look like the Orient Express) was coupled up between the last two carriages being the Baggage Car & the Open Carriage (with netting to stop people falling off). We only managed the one trip to Canada but there are trips planned for 2025.
P.S. I have been reminded that I forgot to mention the ‘Fluffies Carriage’ where all manner of pets are available for cuddles but especially kittens/cats/puppies/dogs & rabbits 😊
Not much to report from the last couple of days, but have finished up & decluttered 2 shampoo bottles, dregs thereof, tiny pot of face cream, bottle of aftersun that I have been using as body moisturiser cos I have nothing else (they're all similar, aren't they?!), and plenty of rubbish in the grey bin that got collected again yesterday (now back to usual cycle).
This morning I'm going to do the bathroom cupboard - empty completely & clean out, chuck anything not needed, and re-organise like it once was! Bathroom itself needs a deep clean, but only have time for a lick & promise before work, that will be a weekend job.
Will be decluttering odds and ends from the fridge for my lunch/tea break at work, and not buying for the others' tea as we have LOADS in, they can fend for themselves as is usual on Tuesdays (I work 12.30-8).
I'm bone-tired with all the current stress of life and health issue so progress is slow, but I think that's better than being at a dead halt. As the days lengthen I'm sure I'll be more able to pick up speed and crack on with everything, even the frogs which are growing daily, sure some of them are already morphing into cane toads....
A xo

Morning All, slowly sorting through things and keeping a list must get back with updated totals. Doing OK on vinted, it gets things out of the house and uses up packaging by reusing it. Now asking people to save theirs packaging for me as running low.
Booked a holiday for winter sun in Feb half term and my challenge is to not buy anything for it without checking / searching cupboards first. Also challenging myself to.a weekly shop, meal planning and decluttering the cupboards and freezers.
Off to start work.16 -
Good morning. Thanks for advice re wedding dress. I’ve just sent a message to a charity that turns them into little dresses for young babies who have sadly passed away. I had looked into this a few years ago but the ones I’d looked at had closed their intake as they had so much. I loved my dress and had the most wonderful day in it but it’s just languishing in a dress bag . My daughters don’t want it.Yesterday I didn’t venture out to the garage as I was working till early afternoon then spent the rest of the time painting. I picked up a shelf unit for free in November off our local FB page and they kindly brought it round to me. So on Sunday I decorated inside my wardrobe ( as you do 😆) and then yesterday painted the shelf unit. I’d unboxed wicker baskets the other week and have put them in the shelf unit/wardrobe. So it’s all looking very pretty…but I now need to declutter the spare bed as it’s got all the clothes from the wardrobe! So shall have a good look at what I’ve got and see if anything doesn’t spark joy for me and either donate or Vinted.Have a lovely day19

My husband took the large donation bag to the charity shop yesterday and also applied online for his passport. I need to apply for mine this week. It looks like quite a nice day, chilly, but sunny and bright.

Still waiting for a moving date. May need to stage a sit in at the solicitors.
Working on decluttering the contents of my freezer as we haven't got one in the new house yet. Last night's dinner was Brussel sprouts, smashed baby potatoes and chopped up bacon. Mini frog eaten and house clearance is booked for Monday for all the little bits left to get rid of and the ratty bits in the shed. Will cost a small fortune but I'll be glad to have it all gone. Will be interesting to see how I count it. Perhaps 20 points per tonne bag? There's at least three bags worth, plus 4 dining chairs, a sideboard, a small sofa, and a mattress to go.
Hoping Mr Fox declutters his bad mood today. He was in a right grump last night and I don't have the energy to cheer him along.❀ total debt at LBM 01/2023: £47,178.76 ❀ debt at highest point: £51,062.14 ❀❁ currently - £24,950 ❁ emergency fund - £2,500 ❁⚜ decluttering medals: ⭐️ || running total physical items in: 74 out: 160£1600+ made on vinted since 2023 ⚜

Seeing as it was a bright day yesterday DH and I finished cutting back all the brambles and filled our green bin yet again. Our next door neighbour saw us out there and said we could also use his bin but it wasn't needed in the end.
There are still nettles a bit further on but they can wait for another time.
I can easily get a train down from MK so would be interested in a London meet upI grew up in Harrow anyway.
