Another drawer sorted and yet more clothes for the charity shop .
what is amazing me is that each drawer doesn’t actually take much time ,!
I never had time( I thought ) to do the lot in one go so never actually started ,now one side is sorted and there isn’t that much in the other 3 ( they were my DH s and I did take his clothes to the charity shops )
also started dealing with one thing from a surface every time I go into my bedroom .
why ever didn’t I think of doing it this way before22 -

Big hugs declutterati, everyone is doing so well.
Even just the sorting 1 item from a room everyone time you go in. Or 1 drawer it soon starts to mount up. Mrs sd I would like to award you with a gold medal 🥉🎂and some cake ( lemon drizzle, or swap for chocolate maybe.??, 😋) for catching up, a truly tremendous job you are doing with this runaway train.
Eldest child declared they were going to sort out their room and declutter. 🥳🥳I was extremely happy to hear this and helped!😁 Although I had to leave him to it after 2 hours! They have gone through everything, clothes, books, nic naks.
I've count 88 items to either the CS / bin or recycling. This is a very conservative count and is likely to be more like double. But for now I'm up to
293 / 2025 😁
Otherwise I've decluttered a meeting at the college with dd. And ive been painting, started 2 new canvases about a metre by half a metre, so pretty big. They will definitely need to sell as they will take up a lot of room in the studio if they don't!
I also have a frog looming. I need to consider tackling it tomorrow, as I have a deadline and it will take some doing!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

I toddled off into town again with a bag and trolley full to the charity shop.
I had my main meal and wrapped some more sold items.
Then....I walked into town again - first to the post office with a parcel - no queue jumper today. Decluttered more parcels at the offy and old medication at the chemist.
I walked down to our lovely harbour to get a bus to visit Mr F.
The nurses were excited to tell me that Mr F had been out of bed today. It took 3 nurses with a hoist to get him into a recliner chair for an hour and a half. Mr F still has the feeding tube in but is eating and drinking so the dietitians will come and see him tomorrow - probably remove the tube.
Mr F has a sippy cup which he managed to spill on his bed while I was there - black coffee everywhere so that had to be sorted.
Mr F was making some sense today and his words were more distinct.
He had mentioned going home to a nurse - was told - you are too ill to think about that.
I asked Mr F if he had seen a Doctor - he said no - he had.
I asked to speak to a Dr. I saw a different one who said all the medical results back so far are clear.
The EEG result is not there yet but Neurology are coming to see Mr F tomorrow. They asked me if I can come and speak to the Neurology Drs - I explained that I have to get a bus but they will phone me when the Drs visit.
This Dr was saying about infection causing odd behaviour - I mentioned Dementia - it is a possibility.
I really don't think infection would cause such aggressive behaviour in Mr F.

Hugs,@Florenceem. That is really good news about MrF being out of the bed and talking with more sense. One or two more steps along the way to getting his health back. I hope you have a useful meeting with the doctors tomorrow.x15

I was out with friends yesterday afternoon, and had lunch with another group of friends today (woo-hoo! Go Blue_Doggy!) Lunch involved the decluttering of some money (but not a fortune). Afterwards I treated myself to a bunch of lovely yellow tulips to brighten the grey old January day.
Decluttered:
- brown paper wrapping from tulips
- cardboard box and wrapping papers from delivery which arrived while I was out (to recycling)
- sticky tape and polythene bags to general waste
Incoming:
- various household bits & pieces delivered
One 🐸 munched this evening.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Not been posting much as I've been busy with work and gym! On lates this week too so I get home at 6.45 then basically straight to bed haha!
Sold 3 things on Vinted need to post them tomorrow, gym first thing in the morning though.
I also came across a website called smalls for all where you can donate clothes that get sent to Africa for adults and children in need, only thing is you pay for the postage to the hub where they sort it all out.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Hi @Florenceem, I have worked in elderly care for some time now and unfortunately infection can do lots of weird and wonderful things to peoples brains! Especially if they have an underlying condition like dementia. Moving people with memory problems like dementia and/or hospital environments in general can cause something called delirium which is basically a change in personality/behaviour. It can cause people to be much more withdrawn, sleepy and disengaged with the world around them (hypoactive) or aggressive, agitated and restless (hyperactive). This can resolve at any point but can take some time. It might be worth asking if this is something they're looking into too. Sending you love, it's a horrible thing to witness in someone you love. x£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January18

I found my five declutter items today. I also did some cleaning and two loads of washing and drying (the student tidied his bedroom into the wash basket). The ironing mountain has been conquered and I've printed off some family history stuff for my cousin to look at.
@weenancyinAmerica take care of yourself, you sound like you're working flat out.
@Florenceem - MrF seems to be having a fairly thorough check over so hopefully a diagnosis will be forthcoming.
Take care all of you 😊15 -
kiss_me_now9 - one of the Doctors did mention a possibility of a type of delirium - not sure which type. Mr F's odd behaviour didn't start in hospital so wasn't a result of that environment.
I keep a journal - Mr F started acting strangely on November 14th so this has been going on now for 2 months.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
