Glad to hear some progress with Mr f
WeenancyinAmerica it sounds like you live in absolute chaos due to the lodgers, I hope you get someone to help you eject the boxes in the hall, its ridiculous to only get a folded up wheelchair due to her own rubbish cluttering the place up, she's going to need to be in the wheelchair therefore in my mind that trumps keeping boxes of stuff that her now health likely means she's not ever going to be able to access? I wish we could all come over and help
Fastfashion its the combined wisdom of the declutterati and books/websites over many years but glad its helped, so many nuggets of wisdom
Hugs to all
Daisy xxxx
Ps I've just been trying to delete an extra dot in my typing for 20 seconds, it turned out to be a speck of dust on the screen 😆 🤣22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈 Never save something for a special occasion. Morning all.
@Florenceem - glad to hear Mr F is making progress, agree that infections, especially if they're going on for a while, can cause strange behaviours. Hope Neurology don't mess you around today and actually call you.
@weenancyinAmerica I'm exhausted just reading about all the things you have to do before Di comes home. Hope it goes as well as it possibly can.
@daisy_1571 I also laughed at the speck of dust and have to admit I've done the same thing before
Currently waiting on the electrician to come along and do his bits and pieces and the plumber will be here tomorrow which is good as he can help DH with unloading the floor tiles when they arrive. DH has also had a moment and taken the rest of the week off work to decorate our bedroom. So both floors of the house will be in some form of chaos for the foreseeable...Anywho, a couple of items out this morning

Been out of action with fatigue again - it’s a regular occurrence and has been for nearly 20 years. I did manage to delete a few emails and tried to sort out a frog yesterday that had a deadline of yesterday however I failed so there is now a bigger issue to sort out. There was an obvious solution staring me in the face however I didn’t think of it until this morning - this is why things get left so long as I don’t function with fatigue and I worry about getting things wrong if my brain isn’t functioning on full power. That said, the call handler didn’t mention the obvious solution either and had he done so, I could have sorted the problem yesterday and not been left with the longer and more laborious process that will cost the company extra work that they won’t be specifically paid for.
Need to catch up with cooking so veg doesn’t go off plus the freezer stocks have been depleted whilst I didn’t have the energy to cook so need restocking.
Am proud of OH for taking a load of sweet treats we were given (and have repeatedly said we don’t want over the years) to the village food shelf and when he drove past a couple of hours later they were gone. We are glad they have gone to someone who wants them.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅18 -
Hi all, ok day yesterday, 1 LDFPA, visit to the bank and cc paid, new laptop set up so I can order my meds and successfully managed that and a session of ironing. I went to the footy last night.
I am a bit sad atm. We have been invited to visit the new baby next Tuesday but I have been asked to not wear any clothes I have smoked in. I do understand the issue but I do smoke in my house, not in anybody else's house, so I cannot guarantee even clean clothes won't have smoke residue, plus it will be in my hair etc so I have decided I will decline the invitation and OH can go alone. Both parents and both grandmothers smoke but they have obviously got access to clean clothes and from what I am hearing the new Mum is quite stressed about the whole thing and I don't want to add to the stress.
@cheapskate yes any progress is good, hugs
@mhagster good luck with the wardrobe sort out 😁
@foxandflowers fingers crossed for the move happening soon.
@mehefin glad the horse is back to normal 😁
@Mrs SD thank you for my medal 😁 the amount of junk on my phone really amazed me 😁
@Vulpix, lovely pics 😁. As for where to meet I did go to a lovely pub once with my Dniece and dnephew which was on the river with a lovely garden but I am not certain exactly where it was, possibly Richmond and when my Dniece was house sitting in Fulham there seemed to be a few pubs on the riverside there but the tables were on the street rather than in a garden. I am sure the London based declutterati will have an idea 😁.
@ruby_eskimo fingers crossed the washing machine fits 😁
@Brie I have read P + P several times as well 😁 sometimes you just need something familiar
@QueenJess good luck with the new contract 😁, spotted !!!!!! mmm!!!
@Suffolksue good tip 😁
@~FlowerPot~ well done to eldest child 😁 I good luck selling the paintings 😁
@CRANKY40 I think you have confused me with someone else, I have a vague memory of some one posting about bins but I can't find it 😁. My general waste bin is purple, recycling is pale blue and the garden waste is green 😁
@suzeesu2000 that was lucky nothing broke 😁
@weenancyinAmerica oh my you must be worn out, is there no way you can get some help before Di comes home? Terrible that they can dishcharge without checking it is safe, unless they have asked her and she has said it's fine. Big hugs
@Fastfashioncoststheearth great start 😁
@Moorviews I am struggling to keep up with the posts as well 😂😂
@daisy_1571 speck of dust 😂😂😂😂
@oceanspirit big hugs
Ok off for a cuppa and a ponder, I have a frog that keeps jumping up and I have successfully ignored it for too long so will try to sort that today at least 😁
Hugs to everyone who would like one
121 LDFPA

After a couple of days off, I have three bags of coffee pods.being picked up for recycling.
I still need to do loads, but every bag out is a start. My non recyclable is full so I will be waiting for that to be emptied next week before I start on the next stage

Florenceem does the start of MR F’s decline have any relation to the cellulitis ?
I have a feeling it might be around the same time ,in which case it maybe could be linked to that ?
hope you get some progress today15 -
It was still raining when I went out to the charity shop. I managed to keep everything dry.
Nice and quiet in Ald. so my shopping was quick.
I walked home and had a tea break + packed a bag and trolley to visit the charity shop again.
After dropping off stuff at the charity shop I went to post 2 parcels.
Back home again to change my clothes to go to SA.
Usual busy time at friendship/lunch club. A friend helped me to take some food home - save me cooking for a few days.
I went back to SA to show a new chap how to sort the donations.
Came home and had my meal - up to 10,900 steps so far.
Off to visit Mr F soon.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Stairs and landing were finished off today when carpet fitters laid carpet on landing and stairs
There is enough left to make a runner for the hall. ( It's either that or declutter! Need to get edges bound if we keep it. Decisions decisions! Have used left over emulsion and paint on dining area and still have some left for kitchen. Half a bin bag of bits and bobs were cleared whilst moving desk off of the landing and the door off of the toilet😱, and general tidying. I have also cleared packaging from Christmas presents. The beautiful dining room clock being one of them. I have also decluttered a small bit of left over carpet. Declaring 1 bin bag.Have taken pictures of areas that are sorted as they are looking good. I wouldn't dare show you the rest of the house! 🤣. Interestingly, yesterday I felt that things were really getting on top of me and that I wasn't getting anywhere. Today things are looking a lot better. Good luck at the hospital @ florenceem.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,
