Morning all
Just a quick update on the pesky horse - responded well to treatment and has been given the all clear. Little s o d looked at like butter wouldn't melt this morningJust have to wait for the bill to thud into my inbox now - hopefully next month.
The recycling guys took all the stuff I collected up yesterday so that's another load gone. No doubt it will be as bad next week.

I pulled my shopping trolley and carried a bag full of stuff to the £2 charity shop - not open until 10! So I trundled it back home - uphill!
Off I went at 10 - shortened hours are due to having no volunteers as there is a plumbing problem - H & S. I left the bag full there but the poor chap working alone - had no spare bags for me to empty my trolley so I took it to the other charity shop.
Just home having a late tea break before I go out again. Already done over 6,000 steps today.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday: Not quite sure anyone will believe this but I was up & dressed before 10:00 😉 It is slightly brighter today although still cloudy with a forecast high of 5°C. I have had my first cuppa & am almost finished with my 2nd 😉
Dizzycap, great decluttering already👏 I hope that you are managing to get enough sleep in between decluttering sessions 🤞Good luck with the rest of the list 🍀
Excellent decluttering weenancy 👏 Sorry to hear that the winds are still so strong ☹️ I do hope you & your family are staying safe & that the fires haven’t got any closer 🙏 Just 1,460 days to go (I remembered the leap year in 2028) 😞
Liverpool_Anne, no wonder you fell asleep on the couch - out of the house for 8 hours & I am assuming a fair proportion of that time was spent on the road 😞 Excellent decluttering especially the extra items gifted to your friends 👏 Well done on reducing the Ironing Mountain 😊 - 25 minutes a day seems reasonable & as you say should eventually clear it 🤞 I have added your name to the London Meet-Up list, there are a few names now 😊 I am so impressed with the amount of electronic decluttering that I am awarding you a medal 🏅 Lovely cheerleading as usual 😊
Cheapskate, just wish the Teleportation Device was real 😉 Sorry to hear that you are “bone-tired” 😔 so well done on keeping the forward momentum with decluttering & cleaning 👏 Good luck tackling frogs & hopefully before they become cane toads 🍀

Fizz2015, well done on your Vinted sales 👏 Hopefully you won’t be inundated with packaging 🤞How exciting - a winter sun holiday in February 😊 Something to look forward to when January days are dragging 🥹
mhagster, a very worthy cause to donate your wedding dress to 🥹 Now that you have decorated the inside of your wardrobe are you sure you want to put your clothes back in 😂 & yes I am joking 🙃 Good luck with the clothes cull 🍀
Wednesday2000, pleased to hear that your husband is pitching in with the decluttering by delivering to the CS 😊
foxandflowers, fingers crossed that you get your moving date soon 🤞Good luck decluttering freezer contents 🍀 I am imagining that there might be some interesting meals on the menu 🤔 Hopefully Mr Fox has decluttered his bad mood after a good night’s sleep 🤞

Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏 No wonder you have done over 6,000 steps after 2 trips into town & both before 11:00 a.m. 🤩
All caught up 🙂 Plan for the day is to visit the bank, pick up my meds & pop to As** for a bit of shopping. Hope everyone is having a good day & that the weather is being kind 🤞

Aww regnbue that is so kind. Your wish is my command. The cats are in hibernation at the moment. It lasts from October to March, they rarely go out. From March to October they rarely come in.
I hope you and your potential cat meeting goes well Granny Kate.
Mhefin, good news that your horse is feeling much better. Grrrrr, litter bugs. When I had a dog I used to take a carrier bag with me on walks to collect rubbish. There is just no need!
sticky, fingers crossed it all falls into place for the move.
TC, remember you work as well as having a life too. Some of us don't have to fit work in any more so don't berate yourself because you have such a lot of plates to keep spinning. Think back to when you first joined, you have achieved a huge amount since then. You have had the tenacity to keep chipping away, in fact under the word tenacity in the dictionary is a picture of you.
Same sentiment for everyone else. It doesn't matter if things are slow, it's still happening. Kudos for those people with health issues sapping their stamina.
Do folks have any ideas of where to meet in London? I confess to not knowing my way about at all. It would be nice to do it in warmer weather so we could sit out in a pub garden or something.
Mrs SD, you are a marvel. Please accept a medal for your collection.
Nothing exciting to report. A magazine for my friend at craft club, if she comes , her husband is very ill.
Some of the newspapers have National Trust tickets to give away, you have to sign up to a newsletter but it can always be unsubscribed from later. I have got some, they are valid until March.

Oooh! Thank you very much for mine and DH's medals @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. We shall wear them with pride16

I am also loving the kitty posts @vulpix - hoping we might be able to rehome some cat friends this year but will have to wait and see.
Thank you for confirming @Mrs_Salad_Dodger, I'll add the 15 items for the kitchen to the decluttering tracker so that's up to 114 items out in less than a month! Oh and I've just remembered:
115. Moisturiser (only 2 more to go!)
Drilling through the floor finished this morning all ready for the plumber to come and lay all the pipework for the washing machine re-location tomorrow 🤞 If it doesn't work then we're going to have to cancel the utility room order until we can work out a plan of where the washing machine can go 😬
Hugs to everyone that needs them - I've dropped some biscuits off in the TLC carriage.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 201716 -
Book dropped off at Tesco's charity book sale shelf. It was a copy of Austen's Pride and Prejudice that I'd picked up at a hotel library in Germany a few months back. One of the few English language books they had at the hotel. (quite a few English authors but in German) Must admit I've read P&P frequently over the years but that makes it good relaxing holiday fodder. Hope someone enjoys it as much as I have.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. I decluttered a few pieces of paperwork that were expired, a candle that had burnt right down (think that’s the first candle I’ve ever done that with) and deleted numerous personal emails (and unsubscribed to many too) 😀
I did set a target originally but it’s taking me longer to record and I want this to become an habit, so instead I’m going to try and declutter something each day 🤗 (I need to review this thread daily to keep up anywayx

Gosh, the train seems to be in top gear and the all the posts are as blurry as the scenary as it rushes by. I now cannot remember who said what and when. However, I am still here for the lovely cat pictures, upcycled furniture, general chat, support and the odd scenery. I have decluttered some of my time by signing myself up to a full time 6 month contract, so I will no longer be a lady of leisure.A couple of things to declare as decluttered, but I'm mainly working through using things up and continuing to work through my box of scraps to make gift tags and xmas cards. Once I've done that I will move onto sorting photos and other mini projects. As I'll be working at home in my library, I'm sure clearing up the mess in there and finishing rearranging the shelves will become more important pretty soon.Physical:
