Florenceem nice to hear that some progress is being made with MrFWell done with all the great decluttering efforts folks! Lovely @ SoontobeoapSometimes decluttering does get you down as you think you're getting nowhere, but there has to be decluttering chaos before you can put the needed things back in their rightful place. Once the charity items have left the building along with sold items and recycled / thrown out items for each room, it's then you realise just what a great job you've done with all the extra space and just how much cluttering junk you actually hadI'm doing my usual basic decluttering: emptying hh bins into respective wheelie bins, putting things away in their rightful place, throwing away useless mail & flyers as postie delivers, delete emails & messages, put a few items up for sale, send & declutter asap, if sold. Now it's time to declutter a cup of coffee

Had a much better day. Forgot to mention yesterday that another bowl was broken - a different shape one this time.
Soup batch made and frozen, more emails deleted and a frog dealt with.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16 -
Sorry I haven't caught up but will on my journey to and from work tomorrow (one of my in office days), Big frogs incl tax will be the weekend (I have started) but a few small ones done/ moved along.
Time to pop to CS to drop off a bag of things, also dropped off old medicines, then after debating of passing on a fabric shoulder bag the one i use for the gym gave up so its in the textile recycling. .
Also pair of DD2's trainers in recycling.

Anything out is progress.
DD1 is popping round Friday and offering her a few household things which if she doesn't want will go at the weekend. A couple of things posted for sale , but as one item lost by courier the process is less appealing!
Take care all, and hope the tlc carriage is well stocked and people making good use of all on offer.

Wednesday: up later today - just gone 11:00. Another grey, dark day & it had rained overnight. A forecast high of 5°C & low of 3°C. DH & DSis are off to the antiques centre shortly. I had intended to go out today but have decided that as I have plenty to do indoors I might not bother 😉 I will see what the day brings…. In the end pretty much nothing ☹️
Felt like I was wading through treacle although I did put a new black bag in the wheelie bin, descaled the kettle & packed a dozen balls of yarn (using 2 boxes & some wrapping paper from my packaging stash 🥳) as a gift. I will go to the Post Office tomorrow but will count today 😉 DH called 15:30 to say they were on their way back. I put in a request for them to pick something up for tonight’s dinner 😊 I have almost total brain freeze & am at a loss as to why 🙁

Florenceem, sorry to hear that you didn’t sleep well or much 😔 Hopefully the neurologist will have some answers for you today 🙏
weenancy, I just want to give you lots of cwtches 🤗 & put a rocket up your lazy roommates 😠 Excellent decluttering of Di’s room 👏 & relieved to hear that the delivery man helped you swap out the mattresses 😮💨 Shame on ‘them’ for not phoning & asking if the house was ready for Di’s return 😞 When DH had his accident back in 2011, I was informed that DH was being discharged on a Friday afternoon but because the house wasn’t ready, I refused to have him back 😉 The bed I had ordered for downstairs hadn’t been delivered nor had the walking frame that was needed for him to walk the dozen steps to the downstairs loo. Fortunately I was firm & they listened & DH was discharged on the Monday with everything ready 🙂 Is there any chance of you doing the same?🤞Good luck 🍀
Excellent decluttering Fastfashioncoststheearth 👏 Good luck encouraging your husband to tackle his Room of Doom 🍀
Great work in your craft room Florenceem 👏 Looking forward to seeing your first total of ‘In’s & Outs’ as I have a feeling that your ‘Outs’ will far exceed your ‘Ins’ 😊
I have taken all day to write this 😬 Nothing exciting for dinner as DH & DSis didn’t pick up any shopping - so DH ‘cooked’ cheesy baked beans on toast with added corn beef.

We today has been different. Roommate J came down when I called him and made up the bed for Di. Did a little more cleaning, and then the transportation people brought her home. The commode is in the garage as it won't fit yet in the house. And they haven't addressed the question of who is going to clean it yet. The wheelchair that came with her is huge (well it needs to be I guess as she weighs 285 lbs.) so won't even fit down the hall yet so is still by the door. Will not fit in our car so will only be used when transport is provided. I could never lift it.
She lay down for awhile, then wanted to go to Chime class. It was fine until we got out to the car using a walker and she was trying to get in. She fell and we had to call the paramedics for help again. They took her back to the hospital for a check-up.
At this time, Di's minister arrived with a food box for us. Mainly milk and vegetables this time. Put the milk away. And then while they were checking Di in, roommate J and I went to turn in his delivery car (Lyft) so he will be carless for a couple of months and will be using mine for night food deliveries. Could never take passengers in it - it is 20 years old and falling apart.
Went to the hospital to get Di. Dropped me there with her. Six hours later Di and I are home, none the wiser about what happened. (Did get some crocheting done.) But she is now in trying out her new bed. Roommate J did manage to feed the cats while we were at the hospital. And I managed to get to the cafeteria to get something to eat before they closed for the evening - very good vegetarian lasagna. Fortunately, I had put some cash into my purse yesterday.
Roommate G is sick. Threw up while we were gone. We also have three very confused cats wandering around visiting parts of the house they usually don't. The two older ones usually have their own special area to "patrol". But all of the changes are upsetting them - so the two of them managed to make messes outside of their kitty boxes while we were out.
We have several more fires in California - spread out all over Southern California. They have now burned an area
the size of the whole Isle of Wight. And tonight the winds are at it again. 30- to 50-mile-an-hour winds blowing a hooly.
Read a study done in the UK about words to describe our re-run president. Love that the word used to describe him the most was "idiot". Right!
@Florenceem - there are studies on cellulitis turning into sepsis. That's why I have been after the doctors about making sure my roommate has had antibiotic treatments when she is in the hospital. When she is at home, she had a tendency to say she felt fine and to stop taking them. Wouldn't listen to me or her doctors telling her to finish them.
Sepsis can cause delirium also. Never have understood how doctors can find what is wrong since there are so many things that can happen. Always amazed when they get the right answer.
@Soontobeoap - I love your bookcases in the stairway. Looks like your house will be delightful when you get it to the point you want if your eating area is an example. Love it.

Good morning.
Florenceem, I'm so glad MrF seems to be making improvements ever if they don't have any answers yet, they must be doing something right (meds) even if they're not sure yet.
Weenancy, I'm glad for Di to be home but what a time you've had! I hope you're taking time to rest too.
Not much done here. We went shopping yesterday morning and DD2 asked for a pair of think fluffy spongebob pjs. I said she could but that she'd have to clear out some from her pj drawer as it's overflowing and there's a few she doesn't wear now. When we got back, she went and looked through the drawer and brought down 3 pairs of pjs and 2 tops that the bottoms had already been thrown away.
They're ready for the charity bag.
While sweeping the floor I did throw a tatty dog toy that hasn't moved for weeks, I sweep/mop, chuck it back by the dog bed and they haven't touched it, so in the bin it went.
Right better sort some kids as school bus in 10 minutes. Have a good day everyone.

Oh weenancyinAmerica I'm so sorry for all the trouble and fuss your lodgers cause. I definitely think its time you told them your previous plan that you are selling up and moving somewhere smaller and they have 6 months to find their own accommodation.
Di is over 20stone, there's no way you would be able to move her if she isn't ambulatory. And after time in hospital I don't know what she was thinking going out the afternoon she got home which then caused you to sit in hospital for 6 hours!! Honestly, they are all a liability and seem to give little pleasure to your life but a lot of stress. And now your car is going to be doing miles extra of short stop/starts delivering food?
Its of course your life and if you like it then I'm delighted but I know I couldn't live like you do just waiting on the next crisis not of my own making. Sending bonnie tartan hugs across the ocean to you xxxxxx

daisy_1571 - Mr F is only 12 stone and I have struggled getting him out of bed and to and from the bathroom - no way could weenancyinAmerica move Di. Yes, so wrong to come out of hospital and go out in the afternoon.
I couldn't motivate myself to get out of bed to face the day. Feeling down this morning.
I have my shopping trolley and a bag ready for the charity shop at 9.
Mrs SD - yes there will definitely be more outs than ins.
I must make myself get on with the sorting in my craft room today.
Mrs SD - I refused to have Mr F home from the rehab unit until all the house modifications and equipment was in place.
